Crane Creek Inn was fabuluos. We stayed there in celebration of our 21st wedding anniversary. This quaint BB has wonderful rooms that overlook Crane Creek. As we swayed in the hammock we watched birds and manatees playing about the water. The house and grounds are exceptionally well taken care of and Bob, or host, was most gracious and fun to chat with. The rooms were very warm and inviting and the bed just surrounded you when it was time to sleep. The in-room massage was delicious and I now even have movement back in my neck that I didn't have after my neck surgery. All in all, if you want or need a relaxing place to go to unwind and remove all those work and life stresses then this IS THE PLACE TO VISIT!!!

I was scheduled for a business trip in the area and usually stay at a hotel on the beach. My colleague insisted on introducing me to a "new" experience. It turned out to be this lovely bed and breakfast, Crane Creek Inn. The Inn sits on the waterway and it's landscaping, hidden from the road, is something to be seen as it cuddles a beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi.

I must say I was surprised and even more surprised when entering the facility. It is a warm colonial type of setting. My room was spacious and very comfortable. It even had a free wireless internet connection for my business needs.

Whenever I needed anything, Bob, the proprieter magically appeaared on the scene.

I would certainly recommend this facility to anyone that wishes to be close to the water, close to the town and close to just plain friendly people.

My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday at the Crane Creek Inn, owned by Bob Shearer. The place looks just like the pictures and the setting is directly in the downtown area by all the shops, within walking distance. We did have to take our car to get to the beach but it is only 2 miles away, walking distance for those more ambitious or who have more time. We met some other wonderful people at Crance Creek and we will definitely go there again if we get the chance. Bob gave us a great rate (the best in town...I checked) for booking for two nights. We saw manatees just off the dock which was exciting and there is fishing off the dock by the water. I think it's an inlet or part of the causeway, and it's not the ocean, as there are no waves, but it's just nearby and it's quiet and peaceful. We plan to return.

I just spent 4 terrific nights at the Crane Creek Inn! It was my second visit, so I knew what to expect. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and plentiful, the view of the river is breathtaking and the host , Bob was very friendly and helpful. I really didn't want to leave! I'm looking forward to my next visit, hopefully in the fall. I highly recommend the Crane Creek Inn to anyone.

Crane Creek is the only place for me in Florida! This is the 4th or 5th time I have stayed and I think the Inn is beautiful - a home from home. The rooms are as clean and fresh as the first time we visited and the Inn got hit by hurricanes twice in one year! So hats off to Bob for keeping the standards up - the welcome is warm and the food and accomodations great. The beach is within 5 minutes and has protected areas for turtles, we also saw manatees and dolphins in the Creek outside the Inn this visit and the blue heron was sitting on the nest next door and just hatching her eggs, I could watch the world go by from the deck for hours - yes there is a train but it is not intrusive in fact I don't hear it anymore! Can't wait for my next visit....
