“If you like pelicans, this is the place for you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

I discovered this place last year and returned again to see the brown pelicans. They are everywhere! If you approach the inlet from the parking lot, there are many adult and immature brown pelicans lounging on the rocks, occasionally flying to catch a fish, or, better yet, hoping to get something a fisherman doesn't want. The brown pelican is my favorite bird - if you like them too, this is the place to enjoy them up close and personal.

“Best Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

If you are looking for some fun in the sun, look no further than Sebastian Inlet! The view is incredible, setting gorgeous, and with the updated park, it's a great place to spend the day. We had a delicious and moderately priced lunch on the top of the grill deck. (burgers are juicy and tasty, shrimp was great) You can't stop smiling when you're swimming and playing in the giant waves! All in all, our family (with teens) had a blast and we would definitely come back.

One word of caution: I wouldn't recommend this for little tykes, the undertow is quite strong.

“Boat and beach access, fishing museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

This is a great state park that allows boaters access to the ocean and Indian River Lagoon. Enjoy the sandy beach and surf ( International Surf Contest in January). A unique and free fishing museum to visit, and the price for a family is cheap.

“Beautiful peaceful kayaking!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Gorgeous location to do some kayaking in. Clear waters and wonderful weather. Loved checking out the HUGE hermit crabs and snails in their shells walking along the shallow beach bottom. Definitely wear your sunscreen and bring plenty if water.. It gets very hot!! Would recommend to go during morning high tide when it isn't as hot and you have less of a chance of bottoming out. Spent $37.00 on a tandem kayak and spent approx 2.5 hrs kayaking. Plenty of time!!
