We started out from Orlando to Cocoa Beach for a side trip to find a beach for our Chocolate Lab. After traveling south on A1A and seeing the large signs at every Brevard County Park that no pets were allowed, we got online and found the Sebastian Inlet review that stated, only beach that allows pets in 72 miles of the county. We arrive and pay our $5.00 and were asked if we knew the pet policies. We listened and basically the pet would have to stay on the leash at all times, they do not allow the pets in the "lagoon" area anymore and no beach access either. We give it a try as our Lab needs a break. There is a small area with about 8 picnic tables a restroom. Our first clue should be that there were NO other dogs around. The area was overused and pretty much disappointing. It is NOT dog friendly and at the check in they had said four months ago they stopped allowing pets at the lagoon. Well we won't be going back there. What a sad area.
