At Marianna you get to see what lies beneath in Florida's limestone, and what kind of hole is being filled when a sinkhole happens. The park itself is lovely and the caverns are not terribly extensive -- no vast cathedral-like expanses like Carlsbad -- but still lovely. The story behind them is fascinating and the park rangers who give the tours are knowledgeable and friendly. Our family had a very enjoyable time. I wouldn't bring a toddler, personally, but kids from 5 up should enjoy it.
