“Best dinner on the island!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

I echo everything the prior review says. This restaurant is delicious that we went back 2 nights in a row and would've gone more had we discovered it earlier. Large portions of fresh seafood, good wine options and very friendly staff. Do able with young children if you go early. Staff is extremely nice and this is the best place for dinner on the island.

“Wonderful dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our first night in Marco Island by having a wonderful dinner at Fin Bistro. While the restaurant is described as casual - I would say that it was definitely a notch above casual ---- excellent food, beautiful presentation of the food, as well! We enjoyed sword fish, yellow fin tuna, and grouper. The dessert - Key Lime Flan - was the Best!!! We also learned that the fish is not out of the water for more than 5 hours before serving....that is good stuff!

“Great little restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

My wife and i showed up with our two little boys right as they were opening (5:30pm). The place was empty but soon began to fill up. Service was great. They don't have an official kids menu but our waiter offered some nice options for our boys. He also suggested a very good white wine to go with our seafood. Beer list is a bit dull but ok.

Food was fantastic. Started with some terrific sauteed calamari and a very flavorful beet salad. My wife had the cobia, a local fish, with squash and other vegetables. It was fresh, perfectly cooked and flavorful. I had the Florida black grouper with gnocchi, crab & prosciutto. Again, perfectly cooked w great favors. Everything was very fresh and all of the servers were very polite and helpful. Best meal we had all week while staying on Marco island.

“OK food - service questionable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

We had prawns, beet salad for appetizers and the tuna and scallops for the main course. The food was overall good - however we were disappointed with the service - the waiter had BO and constantly only asked me how the meal was ignoring the fact that my wife was there and also may have had an opinion.

“An Excellent addition to Marco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Delicious food and excellent service make this little gem on Collier Blvd worth visiting! Wait staff was pleasant and informative. Owner (and chef's wife) made every effort to check on our experience and make us feel valued as guests.
Im still dreaming about the goat cheese appetizer...a delicious blend of warmed goat cheese wrapped in a nut crust and served with crostini! Wonderful! We Enjoyed the grouper and snapper dishes and both were excellent!
My only comment might be some window treatments and decoration to "warm" the place up a bit aesthetically...
Overall, DON'T miss the chance to experience a wonderful meal and pleasant evening out...
