“Service above and beyond-accessible beach hotel- family or business”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Thank you Olga and pool staff for going beyond with service you made our getaway a great family memory! The hotel is not the newest, but it is nice and well maintained-with updated rooms and amenities you want from a beach hotel. Perfect views of both beach and pool from balconies, family friendly restaurant with ocean sunset views, "formal" restaurant and bar, plenty of chairs at the pool with several friendly staff attending, and a beach with white sand. Lots of activities for kids, good mix of families and business travelers, resort feel on a small accessible scale. Reviews of Marriott pool are right, it's a little nicer, but this Hilton has a nice big pool with plenty of Palm trees and it's sunny and breezy! Everyone working there went above and beyond for us (family with 1 1/2 yr old) - we will be back next year for a relaxing beach getaway!

Room Tip: The suite had amazing views and 3 balconies!

This was our first trip to Hilton and it won't be our last, like a lot of other people we met. I could not fault the staff, brilliant service. The food was fantastic, every thing was so fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. Our deserts looked like works of art they were so beautifully decorated.
We loved the beach, which is miles long and walked it every day. The sunsets were amazing. The water was beautiful and warm, the bird life was fantastic on the beach....I could go on and on. The best bit was the wonderful welcome and friendly efficient staff. Can not wait to go back.

Room Tip: The sea view rooms give a great view of the sunset

This is the second time in two years we have stayed at the Hilton Marco Island. Views are fantastic, traffic light, and check-in quick. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The only complaint would be the late cleaning of our room daily (usually after 3pm). The rooms could have been vacuumed a bit better but overall very nice. Kudos to Bud, the pool supervisor, who is gracious, knowledgable and a great positive image for Hilton. He has been there both of our trips and I enjoy talking to him. He keeps a clean and neat pool. Thank you.

Pool: The pool is very outdated. The perimeter system of the pool is discolored and looks like it needs to be pressure cleaned. The tile lining the edge of the pool is a slip and fall hazard especially for young children. Also appears very outdated. The hot tub pictured on the website is the one located at the spa not the one that is at the pool which is below average at best. The location of the pull allows no sun until around 11 so it's rather chilly in the winter months. Wifi: I had absolutely no phone service (Sprint) and had to pay $10 for 24 hours of Wifi. They are partnered with AT&T and you can log in for free if you have them as a provider. Restaurant: We ate at the Paradise Cafe. The breakfast buffet is $21 per person & so so. It wash't crowded but the service was very slow. I asked for a children's cup for my daughter and was brought a styrofoam cup with no lid and then had to ask 3 different servers for a lid and straw. Dinner was not very good as my crab cake contained more green pepper than crab meat and it took so long I didn't have time to ask them to replace it. Fees: $10 a day for self parking. $10 for 24 hours of Wifi. $18 per day for a beach umbrella. $8 for a virgin smoothie from the pool bar. Also, be careful on the boardwalk to the beach as many of the screws are not fulling sunk into the boards.

Stayed here for two weeks in August 2013 for a special anniversary. First time in Marco but not the last. This Hotel is smaller than others I have stayed in but that was the beauty of it. ALL of the star were friendly. Gunner on the bell man was great from the day we arrived to the day we left he remembered our name. The management were also very helpful on a few special requests that made the holiday. The room was great and suggest you look for a high room poolside view to get the best view rooms were spotless, King-size very comfortable bed, couch, chairs, desk a mini fridge for our personal use and a good coffee/ tea maker and dressing gowns. All the freebies were very good quality. Free beds on the fantastic beach buy an umbrella across the road or at WallMart. Good pool, Great clean restaurants close by. The concierge on the front desk was VERY helpful.. Lots to do and a great place to make as a base, good golf courses close buy shops are fine but you need to travel to get to the shopping malls. We will be back.

Room Tip: High and Poolside

We have been here almost a week, and must say everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is well maintained. Pool is lovely and clean. Beach is beautiful, despite the shells cutting up your feet. Wish they would rake some of the shells up and hall it away. It would make the beach more pleasant. Breakfast is good, but lunch is a little boring at the beach hut. Need to think about changing up the menu a bit.. Had dinner the first night we were here at their top restaurant and it was typical hotel food. Nothing to rave about. The spa is very nice and clean. In fact, my husband and I stayed for the day after our treatments. It was very quiet and relaxing. Too bad they didn't have a private pool, instead of just a hot tub. Did have some very good meals at Marco Prime, Da Vinci's, Fin, Bistro Soliel and Marek's. A car is very helpful to get around on the island. This Hilton is really kept nice which I'm happy about since we are Hilton Owners and sometimes have been disappointed with their hotels. Keep up the good work!

Room Tip: Try for a room above the 4th floor. Ours was on the 4th floor, close to the hut which was noisy.

we got back on the 12th nov and had a wonderful time, the hotel is bang on , good service very clean and the breakfast is ok . the negatives are to trivial to mention as the positives far outway this. but be prepaired for a horrible wait at Miami airport, it took 2hours of queing to get thro and not for the first time. if you can put up with that you will have a fab time at the Hilton. try the pictures across the road its a great experience you can have a meal while you watch.

Room Tip: pay the difference and have a gulf veiw
