“2nd Honeymoon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013 via mobile

The Hotel was beautiful and relaxing. The views from the room were magnificent, I especially enjoyed sitting out drinking coffee first thing in the morning. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the beach through the Paradise Restaurant amazing.
The pool water temp was perfect as was the pool.

I had only one problem the smoking policy people light up whenever and wherever. I don't think it's fair that I have to inhale second hand smoke. That would be my only complaint.

Thank You for taking the time to post your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and your room. We are very sorry to hear that the smoking was a problem. We do have designated areas for smokers however we will look into this matter and see how we can make it better. Thank You for your suggestion and hope to see you again.

Kind Regards

Relaxed in this somewhat sleepy town. Beach sunsets were awesome. The guys at the beach were very helpful, chairs and towels always ready. $20 for an umbrella and $90 for a half hour on the wave-runner was a bit steep, and we didn't even see dolphin. The front desk was very helpful, Pool area left a lot to be desired. Small pool and the hot tub, lol, is for 6 people at a huge hotel. Pay the extra and get the breakfast buffet, heard its the best in town and it did not disappoint! As for the area... we enjoyed driving through the town, checking out mansions owned by the stars; eating was ugh., we finally found a place on the water "Snook Inn" fun, good view and decent grouper. Some of the other places we tried "flamingos" a dive, never again. And Vandys for pizza was good food and very good waiter, but odd place, again a sleepy town in the summer.

Room Tip: This was an anniversary trip, they gave us room #714 with a great view overlooking the pool and bea...

Very nice hotel and well maintained. Front desk people were very nice and friendly. We had a rental car and I guess parking was expensive for us. Enjoyed many restaurants nearby and the beach was gorgeous. If you can afford it... would definitely recommend.

We were in Marco Island for a wedding. When we arrived at the Hilton, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a beach view, king bed room. We also received a few extra nice perks. All the staff that we encountered were very friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. The pool area is smaller than expected but nice and clean. The cocktails and beers at the pool were too expensive and you could not bring your own cooler to the pool area. However you could at the beach and the beach was gorgeous. The beach boys assisted with beach chairs which were free to guests but there was a cost to use an umbrella.
Overall nice place to stay for a long weekend.

My boyfriend and I took a trip to Marco Island for our 2 year anniversary. We live in Charlotte, NC and wanted something different from the beaches on the North and South Carolina coast. The Hilton was wonderful. We ended up arriving a few hours before the usual check in time and they accommodated us with no extra charge or issues to check in early. The room was newly renovated. Very clean and beautiful. The shower was AWESOME. Unfortunately the weather was horrible the entire 4 days we were there. It rained the entire time so we spent quite a bit of our vacation in the hotel so we were thankful it was so nice. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We asked a parking lot attendant what she suggested for a good breakfast place and she suggested NeNe's which we ended up going to twice since it was so amazing. There were only 2 small things that were somewhat negative... 1- the jets in the hottub were broken the whole time- the staff were aware and trying to fix the issue but it wasn't resolved during our stay. 2- the AC in the room seemed pretty weak. it wasn't very cool even at 72 and turning it down even lower didn't help. Those were very minor issues though. I would suggest this hotel to anyone.

We've just returned from our trip to Florida and the highlight of our holiday was for sure our stay at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort. It's such a beautiful hotel!
The staff is attentive, the rooms are spacious and luxurious and the view from the balcony (sea side) was priceless. We enjoyed watching sunsets there. The one thing that I didn't like with regards to the room was the size of the bathroom. For me, it doesn't make sense that such a large room has such a small bathroom. The bath therefore was very small too. I "enjoyed" the bath just one night and didn't care to make use of it another time, since the water nearly reached my belly and I couldn't even stretch fully and I'm only 5.4 ft.
The swimmingpool is very nice, has enough sun beds and is very child friendly. The beach is right by the hotel and the hotel offers free sun beds. You have to pay $ 10 in case you want to use a parasol.
The parking lot is guarded and there is enough space. You pay $ 10 per night.
Across from the hotel is a small shopping/restaurant area where you can enjoy different restaurants, an ice cream shop (good ice!), a cinema (which ought to be very nice, although we didn't make use of it) and some shops.
The hotel itself has some restaurants as well, but since we didn't eat there I cannot comment on these. There is also a coffee shop in the hotel where they serve Starbucks.
Would I stay here again? Most definitely!

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for a room with sea view. It is well worth your money!
