“Quiet, accessible, refined, superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

I find the Hilton on Marco Island to be the best
in experiece overall. It is close to the beach,
more accessible to the amenities( not having to walk more than a block to each one),
superb cuisine, nice and laid back elegance.
Perfect for couples, and business travelers.
Location is devine, and the new spa soars.
The Hilton on Marco, a great experience.

What a FABULOUS place to stay! Although my husband and I own a home in Naples, Florida, we decied to celebrate our anniversary on Marco Island (only about a 15 minute drive). The room was a standard room BUT the desk clerk upgraded us for no charge since the hotel was barely full in October. The room was wonderful with a balcony that overlooked the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. The doorman was fabulous...even though we had barely any luggage, he carried our things, got us ice, and set the room temperature to a comfortable climate. We enjoyed both the beach and the pool (you can rent chairs and an umbrella for I think $19 for the entire day). Both the beach and the pool were wonderful and the entire staff was fantastic. You NEVER had to keep a wet towel, the towel person always had stacks and stacks of clean dry towels for the taking. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows...that's a big one for me. The place is SUPER CLEAN and doesn't smell like cheap air freshners that you get in alot of hotel chains. They are renovating the rooms and I can't wait to stay again with all the new furniture and fixtures! This is a GREAT PLACE to stay and I would go there again in a second. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Gulf.

We had a great time. As you would expect, the prices for most everything are over-the-top stupid (try $23 for two Pina Coladas by the pool), however, they do have a decent happy hour where you get 2-for-1 at the inside bar. The staff was excellent, the beach is close, and it was very relaxing. They offer two beach chairs per room for free. You'll need them because the beach is composed of many, many sea shells. It's not the soft white sand you'll find in other places. Worth the time and money to stay here. If you're a Hilton Honors Gold+ you'll get a voucher for a continental breakfast. If you want real food you'll have to pay.

we really enjoyed our stay. at first, we were sad to find out that we were placed in a garden view on a 2nd floor, but friendly staff made up for the horrible view. on Sunday they were doing loud work due to renovation, and they offered a letter with some discounts due to noise. fortunately, weather was nice and we got to go to the pool and beach, and were not disturbed by noise. pool area was nice and clean. fitness center had new equipment and was also very clean. they have the best happy hour 2 for 1 on almost everything from 5-7pm, and food was good, too.

stayed here for a weekend getaway, and was impressed with the location. it's right on the beach, so after breakfast you can go for a nice walk on the beach. another plus is their 2 for 1 happy hour special at 5 o'clock. although the rooms were decent, nice bed, balcony but awkward bathroom we stayed out of the rooms due to all of the banging and other noises from the construction. hilton is undergoing renovations so that was a huge bother, esp finding out that they turned off the water in the bathroom.
these are just things you don't want to deal with at a getaway 'spa' hotel. i must say that ordering room service from the dinner menu was not a disappointment,
the food was amazing!

We stayed 4 nights and spent the first night in the garden view king room. Nice size but kind of outdated. On the second night we were moved to room 1015. Brand new renovated room with a killer view. The furnishings were very modern and the shower is amazing. There was not one member of the staff that didn't go out of their way to make our stay a great one. It was our anniversary on the 13th and we ate at Sandcastles......excellent service and even better food.
We didn't go out much because we didn't need to. We will be back to enjoy this special place.

Only downer was that the pool closed when the sun went down. If it could stay open for some evening swimming and drinks by the pool would be nice.

Room Tip: If you can get a room on the 10th floor the view is great. 1001 through 1017. By the time most of...

The staff was extremely friendly. The guy by the pool was very courteous and attentive. The rooms can use some updating (they are actually updating all the rooms –the renovation should be ready by November 12). They warmed us about the on-going construction and the possibility of getting noisy; on Sunday it did get very noisy. However, staff provide us with vouchers for free breakfast; nice touch!!! The price for this hotel is reasonable when compared with other in the area. I will definitively stay in this hotel again.
