“Yummy Light Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

On our first night on Marco, we were looking for something light as it was on the later side. The Philly Grille fit the bill! We had a little trouble finding the place (before we learned that many Marco restaurants are in strip malls), but we're glad we persisted. We were seated outside and ordered two different flatbreads, a delicious salad and the famous sweet potato fries. Everything tasted very good. The only thing that put us off a bit was the comment on the menu to the effect that they don't like special requests/changes -- one of our party is gluten-free and often needs to make special requests.

“Great lunch spot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

I am local and have been here for lunch many times! Its the perfect lunch spot! They have nice flat breads (definitely try the rustic one), good salads and soups, and sandwiches! Service is always friendly. Only thing i would suggest is offering orange juice.

“Very-Very Good !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

Had dinner here last night with the family. Everyone loved it. I had the Philly steak flat bread and it was GOOOOOD. Sweet potato fries were good also. We had two servers and they were excellent. It was later in the evening and I'm sure they were tired, but they were as genuinely friendly as a server could get. Not only friendly but good at their jobs. Would most definitely go back.

“Why do they call it Philly Grill?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

I am originally from the South Jersey area, which is just a few minutes away from Philadelphia, PA, most of my life. Arguably, we had the best cheese steaks in Big Johns. However, I have been to every "best cheese steak" place in Philly. There is no resemblance between what they serve at the Philly Grill and what you get in Philadelphia. Furthermore, not other items on their menu are what I'd consider Philly food. In general the food is average to better. You won't receive a bad meal. But, don't there looking for a taste of home. If you're not familiar with Philadelphia style food, don't use this as your idea of what Philly food is all about.

“Honestly good uncomplicated dinner.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

On an island where there are many expensive fancy named restaurants, with often like they say in French (come si come sa ) dishes. Philly Grille prepares excellent flat bread, sandwiches, and had a well prepared Waldorf salad. No deserts only complaint.
