“Clean, friendly, helpful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

The last stop before Everglades City or Choco so gas up here! Caxambas is a lovely place and the park has always been good too me... MANY times, providing rain shelter as summer deluges pour down. Staff have always been professional and polite.

“pelicans and manatees”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

The park has free parking and it's fun to hang out there, watching the fisherman come in with their catch. The pelicans are tempted but not allowed to be fed.

“Boat launch, public restrooms and public parking”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

This isn't much of a park but is a place you can launch your boat or go fishing. The man in the little shop was so grumpy I gave up on trying to get some help from him. Oddly, the park doesn't have a bike rack. There isn't any kind of beach or place to swim even though it's on the water. Not a place to go if you want to spend a day in an oceanfront park.

“Great place to enjoy nature.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

Park is a place the locals go to launch their boats. There are benches for sitting to watch the fishermen on the dock, pelicans flying about and other local birds. I was lucky to see a manatee that came right up to the dock. Often times you can also see dolphin as well. It's fun to talk to the fishermen on the dock. This year we met a couple from England who had gone to Marco for the winter months. All in all it's just a pleasant, relaxing place to hang out for awhile.

“Quiet and peacefull”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

We went to this small park because of the Trip Advisor review. If you need a quiet place to sit for a while and contemplate life, this is the place.
