“Plenty to do, great facilities.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

Looking for something the whole family could do together, we arrived at the beach to be greeted by Tony who rents out the kayaks and other beach accessories. Tony was very knowledgeable about the tides and where to take the kayaks to see the best wildlife and collect the most shells. Everyone enjoyed the experience and found the kayaks very safe and easy to manage.

There is a good cafe on site and the $8 parking fee entitles you to come and go as much as you want. Your ticket is also valid in other local car parks for that day.

I would definitely recommend it.

“Not what the hype says”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

Not a white sandy beach as it seems to be marketed as. After passing through (or around) a slimy lagoon you reach a narrow strip of white sand but access to the ocean is over pebbles and shells.

“Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

Just beatiful. Just 7 dollars to park all day and you can come and go on the same ticket. You do have to wad through a small lagoon(Up to waist) to get to the main beach but it is worth it. Turn left and walk a 100 yards and you will be almost alone. Robinson Cruiso ......

“Heaven on Earth”

One of my favorite beaches anywhere. Period. Especially if you like shells :-) Nice facilities along with plenty of parking. hopefully you get to spot the burrowing owls on the lot nearby the park entrance too.

“Aggressive parking pirates”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

They don't like tourists and can't wait to ticket your car. Depending on the tide you have to walk through a leech infested shallow to get to the real beach.
