If you're in the area, you'll have a myriad of options if you're looking for a grouper sandwich. If, however, you want one that is amazingly fresh and ENORMOUS, head for this unassuming little restaurant on Gulf Blvd. We started with the smoked amberjack spread, which was great with a dash of hot sauce and any of the accompanying pepperoncini, tomatoes, or bread and butter pickle slices.
We were there, though, to try the grouper. I had the batter fried grouper, which dwarfed the bun. My bf had the country fried option, which was about 2/3 the size of mine. One basket of crunchy, salty waffle fries was just right for both of us, and we left in a lovely grouper-sandwich-coma.

The food here is great! We had fried scallops, waffle fries, grouper tacos and seafood bisque and they were all wonderful. The service is fine and the location....right on a busy street but good for people watching. Go there for the food. We actually went twice in one day. Prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Great place to stop after shopping or a day at the beach. Liked least....well the menus could use a good cleaning. They were a little icky for this germaphobe. But then again there is a gallon jug of hand sanitizer for your use right on the bar.

Not a place to watch the calories, but handsdown the BEST on the beach for fried Grouper and Onion RIngs. They are mouth wateringly delicious. Old FL ambiance, very casual- perfect beach dinner stop!

Just driving by and decided to stop and have lunch. Glad we did we had a very good lunch.
