“Had a Wonderful Time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

My husband and I -- and our dog, Cocoa -- enjoyed our Easter vacation in Unit #404. We were pleased with the 2nd bathroom and the washer/dryer in our unit. This unit is on the street side but we didn't find the traffic to be a noise issue. We had a problem with the garbage disposer and it was repaired the same day. Our accommodations were very comfortable and Cocoa made herself right at home immediately. We hope to return at Christmas for a couple of weeks.

Room Tip: To fully appreciate the gulf view you should probably be on the 4th floor or above.

We stayed here on the 3rd floor the week of July 5th through 12th. Check in was easy since they have staff onsite 24/7. Only 1 parking space per unit and we had 2 cars, but they allowed us to park our 2nd car in the office lot (about a block away) until Monday morning at which point we had to go to city hall and purchase a 1 week pass to park in the public lot next door...we were told this pass was $10, however since we were given that info, they have raised the price and is now $20. Fine, whatever. The pool is on the smaller side and very warm. Plenty of chairs though. The walk across to the beach is short. The "ocean view" from that level is not really a view of the ocean, more a view of the buildings across the street. Our room was a 2 bdrm 2 bath unit. Nothing fancy. No carpet and you could feel grit/sand on the tile. Sweeping did hardly anything to it. Made you feel dirty. There is a place called Lisa's café within walking distance that we ate at. A little pricey but the food was good. Mad Fish is right next door and you can see/hear the live music from the pool. John's Pass is within walking distance which is nice. Everything in this unit worked, decent supply of items/dishes. Nothing to rave about but it's not the worst place I've stayed. Oh, and free wifi but it wasn't good, kept having to disconnect and reconnect.

We've stayed here twice with good experiences both times. Condos were spacious, clean & comfortable. We've stayed bay side and ocean view side..Must say we liked both just fine. The ocean view/street side can be a little noisy but not so much that it disturbed sleep..The location is great! Easy walk to beach and John's Pass. Would not hesitate to stay here again! We were in 414 this trip. Having 2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer was a plus! The only suggestion I'd have for this unit is that it needs a small real dinette suit. It had a small table with 2 folding chairs. There is room at the kitchen counter for 3 people to sit though so no real big deal. Had everything else we needed...

This was our first time staying on the gulf side of Florida. We were not disappointed. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The staff was very helpful and pleasant and went out of their way to be accommodating. We arrived earlier than our check in time so we decided to utilize the beach. The manager on duty said our condo was being cleaned but as soon as it was ready he would call our cell. He gave us our parking permit as well so that we wouldn't have to pay at the public beach access area. Within two hours they called and again were extremely pleasant. The entire resort was very clean and well maintained. Needless to say we will be coming back.

This was our second year staying in room 610. This year was our first vacation without my husband. I was afraid it would be difficult to return to a place that made our entire family so happy last year, but it wasn't. The condo was just as beautiful as the year before. The staff was very sympathetic about our recent loss and offered their condolences to my family. They treated us with respect and even remembered us from last year. We made wonderful new memories and spent a lot of time rebuilding as a family. It was a very welcome break from reality.

This is our second year staying in 610. We absolutely love it! It's beautiful, clean and very well stocked. The beach is amazing and there are many great restaurants nearby. The worst part of our vacation was leaving!!!!

We stayed in a 2 BR 2 bath unit on the 4th floor. The unit was clean but worn. Furniture and household goods were an eclectic collection. Great view across the street of the gulf and just a short walk to the beach. An assortment of beach chairs were found in the room, including two under our bed (found after our beach trip). The main downside we had was that this is treated as a vacation rental and not a hotel and as such there is no maid service and no towels replaced. There was a washer and dryer in the unit and you are responsible to wash and dry your own towels. I believe that information should be up front with the "resort" description. To me a resort provides room make up daily and fresh towels, so I don't believe resort should be in their title. But as long as you know what you're getting this is a decent value for the surrounding area.
