Sides are extra now, smaller portions and higher prices. For a great meal go to Crabby Bills!

Went to the friendly fisherman while on vacation. We decided on this place because on the brochure for the place it said that sides were included with meal. On the menu the prices were reasonable. This was a big draw in our decision to eat there. We sat down and ordered drinks and discovered on their menu that all sides were $2 extra. We asked management why the menu he was displaying outside his restaurant was different then the one inside. He could not give us a direct answer. He said the menu out front was old and that he could not honor it. The management here is very misleading and rude to its customers. While there, the table behind us complained about the quality of the food. When we got up and left , the table behind us said that was the best decision we could make. If you want good food go to indian rocks beach, the restaurant Shell's is great, the clam chowder is awesome, and they have a wonderful waitress named Deborah C.

Friendly Fisherman Restaurant has changed their menu.
NO more sides with the so called PLATTERS.
Meals are now a great deal more expensive than just a few days ago.
NO MORE PLATTERS: EVERYTHING IS NOW AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
If U eat here bring plenty of MONEY. You will need it!

Did I say bugs in the food? Yes, if you like little worms with your entree, if you enjoy explaining to your 4-year old why their food is still moving and if you like poor attitudes from "manager" down to the wait staff, you have found your haven. Not only were there worms in the food, but the manager said that it happens "from time to time". How about this for an idea, wash the food before you prep it, maybe have a QC person checking entrees before they are served, or better yet how about not buying insect-laden food in the first place?
