“Nothing fancy but the price and location were perfect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Older property.... well maintained. On the beach, heated pool, free parking, continental breakfast, good value for the $$$. We would stay there again. Better value than condos with their security and cleaning deposits. Beds were comfortable, towels were fluffy.

Best value! Best location! Best bang for your buck really. It just has everything you want and need for a good time. Amazing beautiful rooms, right on the beach, great food for breakfast (continental), heated pool, great housekeeping, nice staff. Just everything! We have stayed here for Christmas twice and for New Years one time. I want to stay here more often during the year. Their reservation system online is really confusing, so I suggest to just call and speak to a representative. The two bedroom suites are great! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a pull out sofa in the living room. A kitchen and just fun time. There are some good spots it is close to like Johns Pass, but we never felt the need to leave the resort. Also the shuffleboarding is great, especially with some drinks. The pool is really nicely heated. There is also a grill (have to get your own charcoal). I love love this resort forever. I will try to continue to book here as much as possible. I gave a 1 for kids activities because there are no kids (yay!) and a 1 for restaurant because there is no restaurant (I rather cook anyways).

If a one bedroom condo on the beach is all you'll need, this place is a very good deal. We felt lucky to have found it with no advance notice. It was very clean and cost $80 less per night than what looked to be a comparable place a half mile up the beach. The hotel is "Adults Only", which is nice, keeps everything quieter. The pool is heated so you can use it all year round. Madeira Beach is a great location, near many restaurants and activities.

Not that we don't like children, however we don't have any so it's nice just hanging with the older adults for once. It's an older property by its a perfect little stay for the value. We had a king bed over looking beach. Has a heated pool and plenty of chairs and covered tables to just relax with no rif raf. Room was very clean and has new TV's with a great wi-if. Picked it up with I pad while lounghing on the beach under yellow cabana that you can rent for 10 bucks a day. Breakfast isn't much to choose from by that's why you have a public close by and a kitchen in the room, right? We will for sure be back. Definitely recommend for some piece and quiet!

Quiet location. At least this time of year it was. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a 3rd floor Gulf front king room. Nice beach area. We liked that there was an area outside the pool area that faced the beach but was not on the beach. We didnt always have to be in the sand to have the view. Our room was adequte and comfortable. It is not in an area where there are many things in close walking distance. There is a bus service but we had a vehicle so we did not utilize that service. But there are a lot of things in either direction for restaurants and shopping. They also have a laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers. The only negative thing I can think of is the lamps on the nightstands. They had huge jar lamps with wide shades that were too big. They took up most of the nightstand and the shades were so big they had to tilt up. Silly thing. Sure wouldnt keep us from staying here again. Just bugged me all week lol. Overall a great value for the price.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We appreciate all of the information you provided to future travelers. We are pleased to mention that last week our maintenance team began on the replacement of all of those “oversized” lamps with our new sconce lighting. With these new lamps, it will allow for much more space on the nightstands for personal items. We look forward to your feedback of them on your next visit. Thank you for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

I called on a Friday looking for just a Saturday night stay and by the end of the call, we were discounted to a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite for 2 nights beginning THAT night! The staff was so kind and courteous throughout our stay, catering to anything we needed. Continental breakfast was a plus. But just the view from our room was breathtaking. I would HIGHLY recommend Shoreline to anyone I spoke to and can guarantee you will NOT be disappointed! Thank you to all the employees at Shoreline for making this such a memorable experience. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed at the Shoreline in early Sept. 2012, and enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned in late October. I have lived in Florida my whole live and have spent a lot of time enjoying our beaches, but have never been there to stay in the late fall or winter. We found that this is a great time to be at the beach. The beach at the Shoreline is wide and beautiful. It is also quiet and relaxing. We had a suite with a balcony right on the gulf. It was heavenly to leave the door opened and hear the waves.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is older, but very well kept and clean. The breakfast is adequate, but if you want more, you can take advantage of the full kitchen in your apartment. There is a Publix Grocery very nearby on the Tom Stuart CSWY. Be sure to go into "The Sign of the Dolphin" gift shop next to it. They have many beautiful thing to tempt you
..
We ate most meals out at some of the MANY restaurants in the area. We went to Clearwater Beach to Frenchy's for lunch. We like to go there when we are in the area. We tried "The Conch Republic" in North Redington Beach for dinner one night, and enjoyed it so much that we returned the next night.

I highly recommend the Shoreline. It isn't fancy, but it is high quality any you won't be disappointed, and the price is very reasonable for a place right on the ocean.

Room Tip: Rooms with a balcony on the Gulf are worth the extra money!
