“great for shopping”

Great place for shopping and eating, wonderful ocean views from the boardwalk. they could use more parking and not charge people to park...

“Waterfront shopping”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Shopping and waterfront boardwalk. Recommend ice cream as you walk pass various stores, restaurants and bars . . . . Recommend Hut Bar & Grille for a drink on the water and see some dolphins

“Touristy!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Nothing wrong with John's Pass...it's basically tourist shops and restaurants. The parking is convenient.

“John's Pass has it all...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Our group vacations in Madeira Beach every year, and we always stay in one of the condos directly across from John's Pass (Beach Place, Sandy Shores, Surf Song, Madeira Norte). No driving involved, everything is within walking distance. John's Pass has just about everything you need. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, bars...something for everyone. My only complaint would be that the shops and restaurants all close at 9:30pm. Only a couple bars (including DeLosa's Pizza) stay open late...Great place for earlybirds though...

“A quick stop for lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

This is what I would call a small tourist trap with a good amount of decent restaurants. Parking is an issue and the is maybe 20 or so shops. Many similar or like what the entire area. It resembles a small fishing village but does offer a dozen or so good places to eat.
