In May of 2012 we visited John's Pass Village, located in Madeira Beach, Florida. I was fortunate to have lived in the area some 20 years ago and was very happy to return and bring my wife. John's Pass is located at 12901 Gulf Blvd. Madeira Beach, Fla. 33708. This is the the one place that quite literally you can do it all. The original village was opened as a fishing village at the turn of the century and has now grown into the all inclusive tourist fulfillment. You can fish from the dock, rent a charter for a variety of fish and a variety of length of a fishing excursions, watch dolphin playing in the intercoatal waterway, take a dolphin excursion, take a ride on a pirate ship, rent all types of water toys (ex: jet skies), Stroll the board walks and take in all of the unique sites that this venue has to offer, shop till you drop at over 100 merchants, eat an uncomperable variety of foods, and enjoy your favorite drinks from a wide selection of bars. There is literally some much to see and do that one day will only peak your interest to visit again and again.
Madeira beach is located directly accross the street and there is a concrete walk located beneath the draw bridge for a safe passage the beach. The beach does offer its own parking lot complete with facities. The vistas from the beach are fantastic looking into the Gulf of Mexico complete with white sugar sand and clear water. The evenings are spectacular as the sun seems to set down into the water and the colors could only be painted by God himself.
As if all of this is not enough you can actually stay right on the premisses. John's Pass offers clean and very nice places to stay. Please visit "johnspass.com" and explore all of the pages and plan your next beach trip! You and your family will experience the vacation of a lifetime.
P.S. I highly reccomend staying at Johns Pass Cottages right on John's Pass.
