“Awesome time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

Such a fun trip to the zoo. Have been here many times. The animals were great even on a hot day. Loved feeding the giraffes and riding the camel. That was pricy for a bit of lettuce but my kids had so much fun. Always would recommend this place.

“YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE PART OF THEM...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

This was a very fun day we had looked forward to for months. It was a very fun day, relaxing and great for retired couples as well as a family. Lots to do there and reasonable prices. The animals were so beautiful and well cared for. This attraction is well worth the trip. We traveled from Alabama just to see this. Glad we did!!!

“Great family day out Lion Country Safari”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We had a family day out yesterday,

Fantastic, well priced, we purchased the summer fun passes which also includes miami sea aquarium, MIAMI zoo and children's museum in ft lauderdale.

Clean environment for the animals, you are up close to the Animals, plenty of animals to see

We had 8 in our party so we rented one of there trucks that can seat upto 15 for only $10 it was a gift!!!!!

After driving thru seeing Animals which takes approx 45 mins to 1 hour

We went to the walk around part of the zoo, plenty to see and do

We fed the giraffes truly amazing

Fed parrots and goats

Kids had a fun filled day & so did the adults

We got there at 1 pm and left and 6 when the park closed

Staff friendly and interactive

We were lucky with the weather

We have expanded the park over the last few years adding an entire herd of Kulan, many new animal births, a safari sprayground, giraffe feeding exhibit, a gem/fossil panning exhibit, a ferris wheel, camel rides, budgie feeding aviary, special event pavilion, water balloon challenge and a 90ft Fun Slide!. We do hope to continue the expansion. We hope to see you again soon on safari!

“Noahs Ark”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

This was my first time to see this but what to do on a rainy day in florida this was it.And you got to stay in your car to do it.We were told animals more active in the rain and they were,Even though the lions were behind a fence. If you have AAA has discount on tickets. I guess with the drive to get there it was worth it.If you go to Disney its more expensive. You have to have patience if an animal decides to stand with others in front of your car.All I can say is you have to experience it for yourself.

“Not Worth the Drive From Miami”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

Long drive to get to this place and the Lions are not that close, but some other animals are but to drive a long way to have an antelope next to my car was not worth it. A little pricey but you can find coupons in the local area to make it less expensive

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your experience. I'm sorry to hear you did not fully enjoy your experience on safari. Unfortunately, for the safety of our guests and lions, we did put the fence up a few years ago. We have expanded the park over the last few years adding an entire herd of Kulan, many new animal births, a safari sprayground, giraffe feeding exhibit, Ferris wheel, camel rides, budgie feeding aviary, special event pavilion, water balloon challenge a 90ft Fun Slide! We do hope to continue expansion in 2013.
