My husband and I spent a week at this property in October and had a wonderful time. The property is small and consists of approximately 24 units (studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom). Each unit is privately owned and the managers, Chris and Bill, live onsite. Chris and Bill are very nice and make you feel very welcomed. The property is older, however, the units are very clean and the unit that we stayed in was recently updated. The grounds and the pool were very clean - you felt like you were on a tropical island. We would highly recommend this property if you like good old Florida charm!!

I just spent a long weekend at Sea Club 1 with 3 girlfriends. The manager, Chris, was extremely personable and went out of her way to be helpful when one of our group, unfortunately, was stung by a stingray! The rooms were clean and neat and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was also clean with plenty of seating. The beach is directly behind the condos and very easy to access. Beach loungers are provided for guests' use, but bring your own towel. Very suitable towels were available for a slight fee at the office. Chris also had great ideas about places to eat. She recommended the Lazy Lobster, which was absolutely fantastic! In fact, I'm off to give them a stellar review right now! Highly recommend Sea Club 1! We'll definitely stay there again if our travels ever bring us back to Longboat Key!

We decided to extend our Florida vacation on short notice (because the main week of our trip had been dampened considerably by Tropical Storm Debby) and saw a vacancy sign at Sea Club I while driving along Longboat Key. So, we stopped to see what kind of availability they had. The person at the front desk was very personable and helpful. We stayed in unit 25. It had one bedroom with two double beds and one bathroom. Everything in the unit worked well. The pool was large and beautiful. It seemed very clean. The sunsets from the beachside of the property were spectacular. There were so many little lizards running around in the landscaping. It kept our young daughter extremely entertained. :)

My husband and I wanted to find a quiet last minute get away and while driving down the road in Longboat ran into Sea Club since sign said vacancy. Chris and Bill made us feel very welcomed and even showed us some units that were available. We decided to stay in unit #24 its a 2/1 1king bed and 1full size. The beds are very soft u actually almost sink into them so not good w/someone w/bad back. The beach is only steps away which was really nice and everything is provided in units like plates, utencils, cups etc. except paper towels which kindly was provided by a family staying there. The place looks like old Florida 1960's and some of the furniture is not so modern but in good condition. The only draw back was the new high rise building next door which also has pool on the side of this unit we stayed in. It got a bit noisy and one can hear people talking late at night if they decide to stay up late. It also would be nice if the extra covers in closets where washed often because they smelled kinda musty and dirty. Over all stay was nice and would go back.
