“My favorite place, so far, in Florida”

We have stayed here two years in a row before going on cruises. The reason we love this place is because it has the atmosphere of a small friendly resort town. The beach is beautiful and all amenities are close by. There are lots of small good restaurants to try and good shopping for groceries nearby.

“A tourist trap”

The city is located along the ocean. The motels along the ocean drive are over charging guests during the high season and most of them provide more than basic and dirty accommodation. Anyone interested in renting a room there should visit the place throroughlly before checking in and paying for their stay.

This is a place to go to if you don't drive, because everything you need is right around you. Plus, it's beautiful and friendly, with tons of restaurants for any type of food. Jungle Queen is a recommended tour on an old boat. It's fun, take your camera:)
