This is the first review I've ever written, and I am definitely not a writer, but my experience with this motel was so wonderful, that I had to let everyone know. We had stayed in this town before, and walked by this motel, so I wanted to stay there, as it looked so cute and inviting. It's a small 14 unit motel, but that's what we like. The pool is a perfect size, and was never crowded. I was most impressed with the atmosphere created by the owners. They do all their own work. I was especially impressed with the artistic talent of the owner Christy who hand stenciled all the walls in the motel. It was like staying in a quaint Spanish hacienda. The chaise lounges by the pool were chosen to match the tiles around the pool. The roof on the motel is tile. There are a couple of gorgeous fountains trickling by the pool. If you stay on the second floor, you can see the ocean across the street. The room we stayed in was all yellows and peaches. I told the owner I wish I could take the motel room home (with kitchenette)and fit it into my condo. The area is wonderful-about 3 blocks from town where there are restaurants and shops. One of them is directly on the sandy beach. Everything is walkable; a large Publix grocery store is about 6 blocks away.

Had a great stay for our annual girls get away from home trip! The rooms are clean and well maintained. We particularly chose this hotel because of the kitchen areas in each efficiency. The pool area was beautiful.

We were particularly thrilled with the location. Across the street from the beach. (FYI - no ocean view). A short walk to shops and restaurants and we were close to grocery store as well. Easy access to A1A so it was easy to get to Ft. Lauderdale as well.

The Blue Seas Courtyard is a wonderful, afordable place to stay in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. It was impeccably clean. The decor was very lovely -- tasteful and not over-the-top. The owners are extremely friendly. We stayed in a one-bedroom which had plenty of room, including a dining room, a king bed in the bedroom, and two twin daybeds in the living room. There is a washer and dryer on-site ($1.50 for each). The pool was kept very clean. The owners provided beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas for guests to use. There is ample
seating around the pool in the courtyard. Overall, a great place to stay and we'd recommend it to any of our family or friends.

I checked in for 2 nights over Labor Day weekend. I paid $125 per night including taxes. The room was great. Full kitchen, large room and very clean bath. Grounds are very well kept with a nice pool. The Mexican motiff was kind of different from your average beach motel. With only 12 rooms, this place is very quiet and peaceful. Located across the street from the beach and only 2 blocks from the town square, I didn't need a car at all. The owners were very nice and attentive. I highly reccomend this place for a restful retreat.
