“Rude .. Rude .. Rude”
I can't tell you how the stay was at this hotel, because making the reservation was such a nightmare that we cancelled our reservation. We made a two reservations on the hotel's web page for January 2008, one for 2 night stay before our cruise and one for 1 night stay after our cruise. The following morning, we were awakened at 6:30am by an agent from the hotel. She was really rude about telling us this hotel has a 2 night minimum stay. Their web page says: "Deposit Policy: We require a 1 night deposit for a 1 to 5 night stay", yet they insisted they have a 2 night minumum stay (?). This doesn't make sense. The web page says nothing about a 2 night minimum stay. It did not block the reservation when I reserved only 1 night. When questioned about it, the agent's response was "well, they need to change it on the web sight". That's the hotel's problem, not ours. Yet, they've now made it our problem. We cancelled both reservations. Now we are sitting here wondering if they are going to charge us the $25 cancellation fee. This hotel really needs to work on their people skills.
