A walk thru Florida history. Nice to see old original building preserved in beautiful surroundings. See what life was like in the olden days. Connected to FL Botantical Gardens.

“Fun and interesting for the whole family!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2012

The Heritage park is located on the same site as the Botanical Gardens, so this is a great 2 for 1 stop. Both sites are well put together and admission is free - although there are places where you can make a minimal donation if you so choose. We were very impressed with ths site, and found it to be charming and interesting. We were more impressed with the botanical garden.

“Living history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

Commercial & residential buildings relocated to one tree filled site. Kids & adults can see what it was like to live in a by-one era. If they are having one of their special events when you visit, you may be treated to gospel or bluegrass music, see how to shoe a horse or make a cornhusk doll.
