“Three Week Stay In Belleair Village Motel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

My wife and I stayed here for three weeks whilst visiting friends in the area. We found it very friendly and the room was cleaned every day. Couple of good restaurants within walking distance. It was also very good value for money. I only tried the pool out a few times due to the unseasonable weather but it was clean and very warm.

I love this place, I stay whenever I'm in town for business. Heated Pool, Free WI-Fi, and the rooms are spotless. I recommend the Large Eff or Apartment, especially with the flat screen tv's. Love it and will continue to come back. To the review from Sage, I think your review is for the wrong place!

Tried to see if I could get a room for my wife for the day from 7am -5pm for her to get some rest since she works at Morton Plant overnight right up the road. It would not even be for a full day and the staff were unable to make the accommodations. Called 2 other motels in the area, and they have no problem with it...... Been to alot of Motels/Hotels in the past and such accommodations are generally ok when there is something truly outside of the box. They lost business that would have been a weekly occurance. But hey, rules are rules huh.....

Room Tip: Lived about 5 miles away from the location, East from Ft. Harrison is slightly ghetto, west is very...

Stayed here 2 weeks while working a temp job. Clean, quiet and comfy. Furniture a little dated but not torn or broken. Efficiency has a nice fridge and small stove. Bath fixtures also a little dated but as I said CLEAN. Seems to be a favorite of retired seniors staying long term. Not a Hilton but for less than $50 a night for an efficiency a deal

Room Tip: Also has 1 BR apartment, small and large efficiedncies as well a regular motel rooms

The only saving grace to this motel is the people are extremely nice. The front desk person was kind and helpful. This motel is inhabited by old people who seem to live there in season. It is in a terrible neighborhood and don't eat the local restaurant called Untouchables (describes the food). I was too afraid to drive around the area and that restaurant is right across the street so I stayed close by.

It is an old motel that smells overwhelming like a really strong disinfectant. The bedspread had big burn holes in it and the curtains were falling off the windows. It was as clean as you could clean an old dump but I did not take off my shoes while I was there.

My parents stayed here for the month of March for almost 20 years. It was an inexpensive place to stay for an entire month. I have stayed at the Belleaire about 5 or 6 times myself. It's an older motel with a nice, clean heated pool. I think the rooms have been updated recently. They have regular motel rooms, efficiency rooms, and one bedroom apartments with a small kitchen. It's a good location for shopping, dining, driving to the beach, or driving to Taylor Park for a one mile walk around the lake (watch out for gators!). If you like to save money on your accomodation and cook some of your own meals, and are not too concerned about luxury, this is the place for you.
