There were five of us for a 7:30 PM Friday night dinner. The place had a smallish crowd, not a good sign in my book. The restaurant is in an old building and it looks it. A re model or freshening of the decor is in order.
A salad accompanies the entrees. I must say it was quite a disappointment. The the lettuce looked tired, and the pieces were huge, also, there were no tomato's. It had the look of a supermarket bag of salad. We had two waiters serving us, and they were quite knowledgeable and attentive. The wine list is nothing special and the mark up looked to me to be over three times, which I think is aggressive, especially in off season, and when you don't seem to be drawing a big crowd.
However we were pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and good food. I had seared sea scallops with a vegetable medley that was very good. One person had the broiled scallops, which they felt was perfectly cooked, but lacked seasoning. Everyone else had a lobster, which was expertly cracked at our table. All, very much, enjoyed their lobster.
