“Nature at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Love Circle B. We go there often and always bring out of town guests to experience real Florida. Its a hike worth taking as you are always guaranteed to see some wildlife up close and personal. Gators languish along the wetland beside the trail, turtles, snakes, and a wide variety of birds are always prevalent.
Trail is well maintained and easily hiked but is long and not easy for anyone with difficulty walking long distances or on uneven terrain.

“Alligators, and more!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We had a fantastic time at this preserve! Lots of walking, and a ton of wildlife....for a February too!

During our walk we saw the largest gator I've ever seen in the wild! And, I'm from Hilton Head Island, SC so I've seen a lot of them!! This one was HUGE....besides this one we saw at least 20 more....

Saw my first Pink SpoonBill...several of them!

Pigs, wild...there was a ton of them....

Herds of turtles too!

We are set to go back today to continue our walk! I highly recommend this place, and would be a great place to picnic...and spend the entire day with the family.

Staff were not only friendly, but also quite knowledgeable about their animals, and the habitat!

“EXCITEMENT!!!THRILL!!! and AMAZEMENT!!! In Lakeland Go Figure?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

15 Wild Hogs, 13 foot alligators, 100's of different species of wildlife. In my opinion this was a free safari. We even had several raccoons come with 2 feet of us. None of the animals were the last bit spooked by people. I absolutely love getting this close to nature and being able to get such great photo's for my nature collection.
This park is completely free and if they charged a fee I would have gladly paid it was so worth it. They also run a tram tour on Saturdays that volunteers drive so call ahead if you have elderly this is great for them to get closer to the pools.

“Old Florida ... and free”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

A great place to walk and see Florida flora and fauna. If you are willing to walk the longer trails down by the lake, you may see some very large alligators. This is a wonderful place to picnic and spend the day or bring a large group for an outing.
