I was one of four diners having lunch at Mimi's Cafe in Lakeland. The decor was nice, with French and New Orleans-type touches here and there. Our server (thanks, Heather) was friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken crepes, which were delicious. I was surprised to see a calorie count (or at least a calorie range) for each item on the menu. I did indeed re-think my choice given this information, opting to try the tasty-looking quiche Lorraine on another occasion, after I lose a couple lbs. Other diners from my group had the quiche, salads and muffins. Serving sizes were generous, and the other's took home doggie bags. Manager Ricky Sevigny made the rounds from table to table, ensuring that all were happy. Meal prices were moderate, at about $12 per diner, including tax (not tip). I'd definitely recommend this restaurant, and look forward to my next visit.
