“Doesn't look like much but it is great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Boiled peanuts as an appetizer? Great. funnel cake as a desert? Great. Really liked this place for lunch. Beats the dozen sports bars on south Florida

“Second & Last Chance”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

The was the second time we've eaten here and will be our last. Should've left right away when one of the workers comes out with a beer to have with a smoke right outside the front door for all to see. My wife had the club house grill which came without the dressing and was very bland and tasteless even after our waitress brought her a cup of the dressing. I had a small bacon pizza which had very little cheese and a crust thet tasted like a saltine cracker.

“Went for lunch with friend”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

Probably the 3rd time I have eaten since they opened. My french dip was really good but the coffee out right SUCKS. Taste like something you polish your boots with. Corn Chowder was just ok, nothing I would have again.

“Wide variety, good food, good service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

We walked in around 7 on a Friday night and were seated immediately. The place was busy, but not crowded. Servers were friendly, efficient, and attentive without being intrusive. I had the boiled peanuts which were good, but there were also some cajun ones in the mix (didn't mention that in the menu - I don't do cajun), but most of them were 'regular' and were prepared well. The small order is plenty for 1-2 people. My guys (hubby & grown son) enjoyed their spinach & pita appetizer. For our entrees hubby had the mahi-mahi grilled w/ basalmic reduction and veggies which he said was very good - very flavorful and the fish was just right. Son and I each had individual pizza - wood fired and very good. Just the right size for one hungry person. I had the Tuscan (white sauce) pizza (spinach, tomato) and asked them to hold the onion and add ham - it was delicious! Son had the bbq chicken pizza and he devoured it quite happily. We decided to try the 'elephant ear' with one scoop of ice cream on the side. Two 'ears' came which we divided quite amply between the 3 of us and the ice cream was a delicious, creamy restaurant grade vanilla - really yummy. All of these extras and our bill for 3 people was only $47 - which considering we had 2 appetizers, 3 full entrees, beverages, and dessert - wasn't bad at all. We will definitely return and may bring friends. The bathrooms were spotless and well appointed - well lit. There is also a 'private' room which seats up to 26 people and can be reserved for no extra charge. Nice to have a place that has a varied menu, reasonably priced, clean and good service. Very family oriented. We will be back soon!
