“Cool Patio - Food, service, and crowd not-so-cool”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2010

This place has a great outdoor patio. Get there at the right time of day and it's nice to be able to drink reasonably priced drinks and smoke outside. Don't want to eat here though. Fish is often fishy and tough, the roast beef is sliced too thick and full of fat lines, the fries are undercooked ~ and that was the last time we went. When the waitress was clearing the plates and asked if everything was ok, our friend who had taken just one bite of the fish, said it wasn't good. And she said "Hmm", took the plates, and never mentioned it again. The food has never been good so we don't eat there at all anymore. As it get later, the patio lights up with nice lighting. But as it gets later, the "crowd" arrives. Thursday is Lake Worth Bike Night and it looks like this is the bikers favorite spot. Even if it's not Thursday, it's that kind of place. Drunk chicks (heck once even the bartender was plowed), loud band, overall feeling of rowdiness.

“Fabulous Food at Reasonable Price, Dine Outdoors in front or in back on Patio”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2010

Go for the food! Reasonable bar prices and great drinks. We've been here on several trips to Lake Worth go for the food.... and the food did not disappoint. Very tasty choices on the vast menu. Dine outside in front on the street or on the patio and have a cocktail by the outside bar. Great grouper, generous servings, is what I go for. Others at our table got prime rib and said it was the best they had ever had! I had a starter of the most incredible scallops, and salad and my husband raved over the chicken marsala and smashed garlic potatoes. Very reasonable and a Wonderful chef - Kudos to him. Never ate inside, only out. That looked like more of a bar crowd than a dining crowd. - primarily locals. Could encounter an interesting crowd on the patio near the bar. Let's just say it was entertaining people watching this year. They really did not bother us and we had a great experience. Patio atmosphere is fabulous with lots of tropical plants and lights. Other times there has been a good guitar player for outdoor entertainment. Seems like different venue depending on the evening.

“Near disaster, ketchup explosion in "Biker Bar"”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2006

Exploding ketchup bottle, indifferent service, what a disaster. Upon receiving 4 dinners at our table, we asked for ketchup. salt and pepper. Soon as I touched the ketchup bottles top, it popped like a champagne bottle. Ketchup went all over floors, near by tables ,walls, and all over the 4 of us. The worst part was the ketchup shot up into my husbands eye, causing major burning and stinging. A very uncaring staff had to be called over, leading my husband to the restroom to wash out his eye, while the 3 of us left at the table were covered in ketchup for what seemed like an eternity-- we were then thrown a wet washcloth given a breif apolgy and asked if we were staying or going. Needless to say we never tasted the food. We had never been there before and will never go back.
