My daughter's laptop was stolen by someone using an electronic key. Hotel has stonewalled although acknowledging that new key was issued. Efforts to gain additonal information on who cut the key has been blocked. Safety and customer relations not a priority of this hotel. Would not stay there again.

I hadn't realised at the time of pre-booking this hotel how far down the 192 in Kissimmee it was. If I'd known I'd have never booked to stay there. That aside, we arrived at the hotel late after having suffered long delays and diversions with our airline. Of course this wasn't the hotel's fault but a comfortable hotel room would have been very well received after the stress of the day.

First impression of the building itself, not too bad, the same as most budget hotels. The corridor to the room was very well lit. On entering the room I noticed it was absolutely FREEZING, not just cold from the a/c but FREEZING. I was so tired I got ready for bed straight away, it was dark by then anyway so viewing the room wasn't a high priority for me. On getting into bed I caught my shin on a sharp metal object sticking out of the side of the bed so that didn't go down too well. I also noticed how the carpets felt wet but I assumed it was just because the a/c was blowing out such cold air.

The next morning I hopped in the shower only to find the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. The bathroom itself was small and in desperate need of decorating. The towels were very thin and the hairdrier didn't work, neither did the light above the shower itself.
Going back into the main room from the bathroom I noticed that the walls and mirrors and furniture were dripping with condensation. I was not impressed at all. This couldn't have been caused by just the shower. The room had no ventillation whatsoever and I just wanted out of there. I was desperate to get out I even paid $25 early checkout fee.
Don't get me wrong, I don't expect 5* for 2* prices, but the rooms should at least be fit for human habitation. If I'd stayed there I'm sure I'd have ended up with pneumonia or something worse. Do yourself a favour and pay a little more - it's worth it for your peace of mind and more importantly, your health!

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the Clarion Maingate. The hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help. The hotel grounds were landscaped and kept looking very nice and clean. We had a room on the 1st floor, king bed, microwave, and frig., it was very clean and smelled so fresh. The lobby was spotless. The pool area and tiki bar was great. The bar didn't open until 5:00 pm , but this wasn't a problem with us. They played music at the pool, starting around 11:00 am until closing 11:00pm. We never did eat at the breakfast bar, but comments from other guests it was very good. There was someone going around all the time, checking to make sure that everything was in working order, this was done
several times throughout the day.
Overall I would have to say this hotel is family friendly, and just a great place to stay. Would stay here again.

dirty - other peoples rubish behind the bed. cockroaches, fumigated with tin of insect repellant. damp developed a chest infection due to the damp cleared up within 24 hrs of leaving lasted two weeks while there. would not go back if you paid me would not recommend it
