We arrived in the evening around 9 pm just to find out that our room would be on the first floor. Yikes! Had called the day before and requested not to be put on the first floor b/c we were traveling with our small grand kids and daughter in a second room. They had assured me that we would be placed pretty close together and not on the first floor. But the manager on duty Talitha Little came to the rescue! She was very accommodating and understanding and we ended up on the second floor with just one room in between. Perfect! The grand kids loved their room with the bunk beds, just like at home. The place was very clean and the staff everywhere were very friendly. The ladies at the breakfast bar also very pleasant and friendly with the guests. Would stay here again.

I'm not sure what some people expect here - 5* maybe - if that's what you want go pay 5* prices! My daughter (16) and I stayed here for 2 weeks (9th July - 23rd July) and had a great time - this is a base for you to sleep and shower in as the area has so much to do you don't stay in your room much.

The room was a good size and clean on most parts (more about that in a minute) and was comfortable, we were on the ground floor looking out on to the pool. Right the clean on most parts isn't meant in a bad way but the cleaning was a bit hit and miss someday's but not to the extent where I'd say I'd not return - it was just little things but mainly the coffee pot - someday's it wasn't emptied and the filter was left in - no big deal to take it out and rinse pot out myself but a little annoying when at 6am I wanted to make coffee and had to clean pot myself.

Yes when you go in you can smell the fish/lobster from the attached restaurant but its not as bad as people have made out as I already said we were on the ground floor and there was no smell in our room.

Overall its a decent place to stay and the staff are great especially Rita who we had a chat to when we saw her :)

We choose this hotel for our Disney vacation stay, we were tight on money and could not pass up the "free breakfast and free shuttle to the parks" advertised.
The free breakfast was not so good simply put - weird looking eggs, waffle maker and then a few cereals to choose from. Not bad but not anything amazing, either.
What made me pretty upset was the "free shuttle" service - it only departed one time in the morning (9:15) and came back to pickyou up there once (at 5:30) so if you wanted to stay for fireworks, etc at the parks, you better find a way back to the hotel, which in our case we couldn't take a taxi due to two small children needing car seats. The shuttle also only dropped you off at Animal Kingdom as well, so you'll have to find your way to the other parks. We ended up driving ourselves there everyday because we wanted to stay past 5 pm and had to pay $17 a day to park at the parks. Just a heads up for those wanting to take their shuttle.
The room also had a smell to it, we weren't sure what it is, maybe just the older age of the room, but it smelled a little like cat pee. You just kind of got used to the smell through out your stay oddly enough.
The bathroom wasn't clean enough to my standards- there were long black hairs on the floor and in the tub, which were not mine or my guests, so that really grossed me out. I cleaned it up, and made the best out of it.
Elevators were old and only two were running out of the three. No big deal. The fourth and fifth floors of the hotel were closed for whatever reason, so only the second and third were open for stay, no idea why but I assumed it was for renovations.
Overall, we were barley in the room, only to sleep, so it served its purpose for a cheap price. Hope this helps future stayers with their choice of hotel!

Now, I'm not going to bash this hotel. I will start by saying that if you are doing Disney World on a budget then this hotel is definitely a way to pinch your pennies AND it is close to the parks. BUT don't say I didn't tell you so before you get there.

1. When you walk in to the Lobby, be prepared to smell fish / lobster. There is a lobster restaurant connected to the hotel and well... not a pleasant smell... especially for summertime visits. We didn't eat there so I'm not saying the food is bad. I have no idea, but the smell is pretty strong throughout the entire lobby and half way up the elevator.

2. The elevator...well only one was running ( the other was down ) was kind of small. Be prepared when you ride it to be crammed up with people. you can smell the restaurant in there too.

3. The room we stayed in came with a safe, refrigerator and microwave which was nice and a smaller flat screen. The room was defiantly large but there was a SMELL in there too. Not of lobster but it was musty. We weren't in there much because we soaked up has much Disney as possible the five days we stayed... but the smell was annoying.

4. The Pool - There were a ton of people swimming, but as soon as we got in with our 6 month old daughter we got out. The bottom in concrete, even in the one foot section. Be ready for scrapped up knees. Also there is a sign saying not to swim if you have diarrhea... because the water is continually filtered through. Yikes.

5. There will be pizza and delivery flyers wedged in your door everyday... those businesses are NOT advertised by the hotel. Meaning people just walk in there to advertise themselves... NON HOTEL MEMBERS walking the halls with pizza flyers. ,Just don't order pizza unless it is papa johns or dominoes.... we ordered from one of those flyers in the door and it was truly crap. lol We asked for two cokes and they busted in the drivers car. Not sure how that could happen... but just be "weary" of those flyers... even says to be in the hotels disclaimer form.

6. You have to ask to have your sheets changed.

Honestly we saved a ton doing Disney this way... we really did and everyone there is nice.. BUT THE SMELL ALONE WILL NOT HAVE ME GOING BACK! :)

Room Tip: Expect to smell Lobster the entire time you are at this hotel.

We recently stayed here for 5 nights. This hotels looks good from the pictures but they are deceiving. When we walked in we noticed an odor in the lobby that that I describe as old or musty. Only two of three elevators were working. The tile was broken and a pot hole was created in the elevator we used our cart got stuck in it. The 5th floor ice machine was not working. The A/C on 5th floor was not working. We reserved 3 rooms, they all had a urine smell to them. One on the A/C units in the rooms wasn't working and we had to move to another room. Housekeeping forgot to service our rooms one day so when we got back at 10:00 p.m. we had to call the desk for towels and trash removal. We marked the sheets to see if housekeeping had changed them anytime during the 5 night stay, of course they didn't. This hotel gets a 1star because of its proximity to Disney and I guess that's why people keep staying here. I know I won't spend my money here again. Shame on Comfort Inn for not keeping this hotel up disgraceful.

The only good thing about this hotel was the proximity to disney. The internet didn't work, some of elevators and the ice machine were out of order. The cleaning was terrible, we stay there three nights and our bathroom floor was never cleaned. Very noisy AC.
