“Transport Shuttle”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

Having stayed at the Comfort Inn dec 22nd-29th,i was disappointed with the shuttle hours.
I chose the hotel because it was close to the theme parks and had attraction shuttle, but to my dismay the shuttle returned at 9:30 pm,just when the fireworks started and the park didnt close until 12am-1am.Our week stay was good at the hotel but cost us anywhere between 40-50 dollars per day on taxi fares. My advice is to take a taxi to and from the animal kingdom ( 10-15 dollars ) and use disneys free bus shuttle to take you to the other theme parks for free.
The hotel was good but some of the staff could have been more polite but overall it was ok.
Based on our experience we would stay at another hotel that had their own shuttle and better scheduled hours, not a private company like was used by Comfort Inn.

Room Tip: Travel by a taxi with a meter, that way you pay what you see on the meter, not an overblown charge by...

The hotel is adequate and is family oriented. Close to Disney access routes. Suitable for families. If you want a quiet stay, this is not the place to be. The accommodations were adequate, however we found the facility a little overpriced. The soundproofing between suites and the hallway were very inadequate and tended to be noisy. The breakfast was OK and had a variety of choices, but tended to be very crowded and noisy. The hours could have been extended to 9:30 or 10am rather than 9am. We found the King suite to be small and poorly designed for the price. Personally, I would not stay there in the future. As an older couple, we would prefer a quieter hotel.

We chose this this hotel bc it was 1-a Disney Good Neighbor hotel, & 2- it was relatively inexpensive for our family of 7.

Hotel is off property but took only about 10 min driving our vehicle to get to any of the four main parks. ($15 per day to park at parks.)

Room rates were around $125 nightly. The room we had was equipped with 2 queen sized beds & a bunk bed. Our youngest just slept on the floor in a sleeping bag we brought.

Complimentary breakfast was served from 6-9am. Get there before 8am to avoid the "rush."

There was a small fridge and microwave in ou room and a super Target 5 min down the road with many other restaurants close by.

That being said: Our personal opinion was that, The hotel is in need of an update. There was plaster falling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Tub was plugged in bathroom but they fixed it quicky, AC unit was VERY loud in the room, the free shuttle To and from the Parks is very limited. Plan on taking a taxi, or driving your own vehicle. Call hotel ahead to see what the times are. They don't match up with the times of the parks open/close, especially with the extended Disney hours available at the holidays.

There are 2 coin-operated washers and dryers on property. They are each $2 per load. You can purchase laundry detergent and get quarters at the front desk. (We just purchased own laundry soap and dryer sheets at target, we used pods) Staff was very kind, and accommodating. The outdoor pool & hot tub are saltwater pools were clean & were well taken care of.

Excercise room is small but fine.

One evening we ordered pizza, there was a $5 charge to our room for that outside delivery. There is a safe in the room we did not use it, There was a fee to use it.

So all in all we felt that we got what we paid for per night. Compared to staying on Disney property this was much more inexpensive, especially taking in our own sack lunches to parks and eating breakfast at hotel.

Stayed 8 days while visiting Orlando parks. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable with two queen beds, cable tv, microwave, and small fridge. Well-stocked hot breakfast each morning with fresh waffles, eggs, sausage, pastries, toast and cereal. Walking distance to several restaurants, fast food chains and pharmacy outside the hotel. Shuttle each morning to universal studios and certain Disney parks (sometimes quite full and run late, but a useful free service. Make sure you line up early for return trips, they can get very busy). Main downside is the surprise mandatory $3.96 USD/day fee for the safe and for local calls-- even if you don't use them. Otherwise, a comfortable stay.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days and 2 nights while visiting Magic Kingdom. We were so tired when we came that the hotel beds were very welcoming. We stayed in a room on the first floor that had 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed. I slept on the sofa bed and it was surprisingly comfortable. I was worried the mattress would be thin and I'd have trouble sleeping. The free breakfast was delicious and there were a variety of choices (waffles, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, sausage links, cereals, juice, baked goods). The only complaints I have were that the blow dryer and one of the TVs did not work in our room, the first floor was NOISY at times (we had people walk by at 12am and were LOUD like they were drunk and the walls are pretty thin; plus, you could hear traffic from the lobby since we were pretty close); and the hotel room was rather tight. There wasn't much space to move around since there was 3 people in the room but we made it work. It's a good value and close to the Disney Parks.

Room Tip: You would do well to get a room that's not on the first floor. The top floor is your best bet s...

The hotel staff were friendly and willing to assist in every way they could. The room was clean and comfortable. The strange thing was the charge for using the safe, there was no mention of this when we checked in.

Visiting Disney during the month of may, got a good price for this hotel via choice hotels membership. Hotel is at a good location close to the main highway leading to Disney parks. The room was pretty clean and cozy. also the bathrooms were sparkly clean. many restaurants near by, as Kissimmee is full of them
