“Good value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Clean room, close to Disney and good rate. We had searched online and found a coupon which they did honor. We only stayed one night and there was a large group of teenagers staying there the same night which meant a great deal of noise. The walls are thin so we didn't have a restful night. Breakfast was included in the price of the room but by the time we came down at 8:00, there was very little left to choose from. And, make sure to go over your bill at check out. We had been charged for a safe in the room which we didn't even know was in the room. We pointed out that was something we had not used and it was removed from our bill.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting Disney. It is very close to the main entrance. We stayed in a family suite that has a bunk bed for kids. The room itself was nice however what I didn't like about it is that when your child is climbing into the top bunk they can actually unlock the door and the security latch. Keep that in mind if you decide to get this room. The bunk beds are at the very front of the suite and the rest of the beds are towards the back. The room also comes with a frig and microwave. The free breakfast is great and helps save on eating out costs. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel as well.

This hotel is conveniently located near Disney, offering free parking and free breakfast (quite simple, but it's still a hot breakfast). The room is quite spacious and clean. Even though there is supposed to be a $3.5 per day resort fee, my card wasn't charged. The staffs are quite helpful too. With the Priceline Express Deal price of below $40 (before tax) during the holiday season, it's a bargain.

We stayed at this hotel as we purchased a voucher through dealnews. The deal was offered by newport marketing, I was definitely not impressed by their customet service and response times. Tge hotel itself however was definitely lacking. We only paid $99 for 2 nights so we werent expecting the 4 seasons but the hotel was very outdated and the odors were very strong. Seafood smell in the lobby and very overpowering grease/mechanical smell. Lots of children running up and down the halls at night and you could hear everything!

To address issue with wifi, yes it is weak in spots & limited instructions on which access point to connect into. Best tip is to connect to primary access point (has the word access in it) not the wifi point #'s. Sit closest to the front of the room since hotspots are located in the hallways. Get over the funky smells- many hotels in Orlando have humidity related odors. If it's really a concern, bring a plug in air freshener- I usually bring one on cruises just in case & have used it once. Also, the restaurant downstairs is an all you can eat lobster buffet so yes, you can smell seafood around dinner time. Walk into Red Lobster- you will smell the same thing. Honestly, I was concerned about prior reviewers complaints about smells- it was only a very minor issue to my family. Hotel is older, but they have really done a great job keeping it updated and very clean. No visible dust on furniture in our room. Pool was heated to 81 degrees- hot tub was 104. If they charge for room safe rental, just ask them to remove charges if you didn't use it- staff is all very pleasant especially female who is expecting a baby soon!

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing pool if you want to take nap in the afternoon

We were there at the busiest time of the season, and we noticed the management had hired extra staff to cope with it. There were 3 staff taking care of the roomy breakfast area - even a dedicated staff to cook waffle with 3 machines. The hotel is merely a mile from World Drive, and things were up to our expectation. The only exception was the poor wifi connection in our room, and the ageing elevators (very much like the Hollywood Hotel at Magic Kingdom).

This was a fun trip, we have 4 kids so the bunk bed room w/two queens worked out perfect for us. The value was also helpful as this was a Disney trip and anywhere I could save money I did. They say it was recently renovated but our bathroom had a shower curtain rod that was loose and wouldn't stay closed and there was mold behind the toilet, paint peeling and the fan in the bathroom did not seem to work so it got humid in there quick.

Having said that though, the room was comfortable overall and great for the price we paid. I give this 4 out of 5 not necessarily because of the rooms, but more for the very responsive staff. They were always willing to help and did so quickly. Again, we were going to Disney from roughly 8 am-ish until sometimes midnight so we literally just crashed there.

I can confirm with other reviewers, the breakfast buffet, while a great value and helpful has it's challenges. The area is too small and crowds quickly making seating a challenge, as well as time if you are in a hurry. We were there for the week of Christmas so perhaps this is not always a problem but for us we unfortunately were turned off by it a couple of times and wound up spending more than desired to eat off site a couple times.

The walls and door are "thin" in the sense of it not being a completely sound-proof room as we have experienced in other hotels.

All in all, if you are planning a trip to Disney, we were a mere 5-10 minutes from the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom so that is convenient and for the price it was alright again since we mostly just slept there.

We would consider this hotel again for another Disney trip and hopefully some additional improvements/renovations are made but overall they were not complete deal breakers for us.
