“Great place to stay when visiting Disney”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

We had a 3 BR unit which actually was a 1BR and 2BR joined together. Each had their own kitchen and washer and dryer and screened in porch. We were in building 900 on the top floor. It overlooked open space and we could see Disney fireworks. The building had an elevator. All 3 BR's had a king bed. The beds were very comfortable. The furniture looked newer and was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The unit was very clean and everything was working. The staff was friendly and check in and out was fast. The location to the Disney parks was excellent. We got this unit through our RCI timeshare and couldn't been more pleased. It worked nicely for our family of young boys. The only negative was that the pool was very cloudy. We didn't spend much time at the resort so it wasn't a big deal. We were not bothered by the sales people once we told them we were not interested in purchasing anything.

If you have children, do go to the water parks for a break. They are not expensive and FUN. Our children enjoyed them as much as Disney.

We were there on Halloween and paid to go to the Disney Not So Scary Halloween Party at night. Kids loved it. They limit the number who can attend which made it nice.

Also, the Whispering Canyon Cafe in Wilderness is a blast. Good food too. Just be sure to make a reservation.

Room Tip: If you need an elevator, make sure your building has one. All don't.

We were booked into this hotel by Holiday Travel Info as one of the stays on a timeshare promo.

I traveled with a friend, we are 2 ladies of 63 and 72 who are just in remission from cancer. We asked for 2 seperate beds and thought thats what we were booked for. WRONG!!!!!!!!! The resort had us in a 1 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the loungeroom that doubled as a second bed. When we went to reception to request we be moved to a 2br apartment, we were told that they could not change us that it could only be done by the travel agent that booked the room. RUBBISH!!!!!!! The room looked dated and small. The phone in the loungeroom and bedroom did not work at any time while we were there. We finally managed to get onto Holiday Travel Info who organised to get us moved to a 2br apartment on the 4th day of our 6 day stay. We declined and had them book us a room at the Hilton Coco Beach which we had to pay for.

What should have been a celebratory vacation turned out to be very stressful.

We just got back from a week stay at this resort and it was great!
It is a smaller resort but we like it that way and you wont have to drive your car to go to the pool or any other place at the resort
the location is great, handy to Disney and restaurants. The room was spacious and updated, we had a 2 bed room unit with a balcony.
When we arrived, the toilet in the master batch was not flushing correctly but someone responded to our call in about 15 min to fix it and you cant beet that.
I would recommend this resort to anyone!

Parking lot covered in trash, buildings un-kept, furniture in room looks second hand from a junk yard. TV a 15" . Did not feel safe due to the people hanging around in the parking lot. It looked like a flop house for the homeless. The pictures on the Internet must be 10 years old.
Stay away.....

Loved the room. 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 balconies. Beds comfy and linens crisp. Hard but with deep padding you sink into. Slept great. Modern furniture. 5 flat screens. Washer and dryer. Free laundry soap. Great shampoo, soap and conditioner from Bath and Body Works. Jacuzzi tub in master bathroom. Movie theatre nice with mostly current stuff. Only 2 shows per day at 5 and 7. Wish they had a 9 and 11 for something to do later at night. Bummer that. Hot tub was good and hot but unfortunately they don't enforce the no children rule. Pools are heated but not really. You could swim but it wasn't pleasant except between noon and 4 when it was warm out. Other heated pools at Discovery Cove and Aquatica gave us a good comparison to go by. BBQ grills are small and charcoal instead of gas. Kitchen nicely stocked with the basics. If its not there and you need it, just ask. They have other stuff available that is not in the rooms. Staff friendly. Grounds nice. No bugs to be found. Didn't notice any noisy neighbors and the walls didn't appear as paper thin as the other reviews suggest. Check in and check out was quick and painless. Optional maid service available for a fee. Cabana bar at pool was ok. Happy hour beer prices ok for beer. Worst frozen drinks ever though. You can bring your own food and drinks down to the tables, they are just not allowed on what they consider the wet deck or in the water. There are no plastic cups in room so grab some at the store. I had no problems with the internet. There is a fee if you want it in the room. $27 but you also get discounts all over and paper delivery. Good bargain compared to what I've seen at other places. If you do the timeshare presentation its worth about $75.00. For that we didn't bother and they didn't push. Gym was nice. There is a sauna. Call ahead and they will heat it up for you. Everything you need as far as gift shops, beer, gas, groceries, fast food, restaurants, dollar stores, target, and more buffets than i could count nearby on the main strip (192). No pets allowed so i wouldn't ever buy here but I'll probably stay here again next time. Very nice and convenient.

Clean - it was very clean. The furniture in good shape and clean. Sheets, towels and 6 pillows on the bed! The kitchen was fully stocked, but I have a few comments here. I went a bought a drinking glass. The largest in the room were the wine glasses. The others were juice size. BTW - no dishwasher. Several buildings at this resort and 3 pools. Heated? Well, depends on what you call heated. There may have been a heater somewhere but it took some getting used to when you got into the water. Activities seemed plenty but we usually don't take part in them. The morning breakfast was the bait and I have been there done that, and no more. I have 2 timeshares and I am very happy with them. THey did offer discount tickets, but like they say, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is. We didn't go there either! Staff seemed very friendly. I have no complaints. I was expecting free wireless in the room, but that was in the lobby only. These days, wireless should be expected to be part of the room. Not an additional fee charged for it. So, I say go and enjoy. I would go back without even thinking twice!

Room Tip: We were by the pool away from the other 2. Quiet and not crowed

I stayed in a 3 br deluxe lockoff unit for a few days, the heated pools were excellent, the room was good too (the bedroom TV's were tiny though) the activities were fun and Id stay here again with my family. lots of things to do here to keep you busy. The only thing I missed having was a nice walking trail.
