The floors and walls are incredibly thin, we can hear the loud neighbors below and beside us, the conversation in the street, the engines in the drivethroughs beyond. This is not a resort part of town; it feels unsafe. We usually like to go for walks, but we don't even want to try it. People cruise on battered bikes through the parking lot asking for change. The building is very seasoned, and definitely in poor repair. The floor in the living room is soft and creaky in just about its entirety. The fold-out bed is stained. The bedroom window was broken upon our arrival, and kept falling open. The bathroom stinks. The showerhead was so crusted with mineral deposits from the hard water that it barely worked. The shower plumbing pulls out of the wall a good 5mm with no effort. The bathroom faucet didn't want to turn on. Housekeeping threw away a shoelace we had left on the counter. The kitchen materials and utensils are cheap. The fridge doesn't want to close. The outdoor pool is unheated and filthy. There is no hot-tub.
Other than that, the staff was nice. We did not notice any bugs, though after looking around when I first walked in, I had mentally prepared myself for them. It's a place to stay if you're not too picky and you sleep like the dead.
