“Fairly Good, Nice Pool”

Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration

The common facilities (Pool, Lobby, etc) were quite nice, but the rooms were a touch cramped, especially the bathrooms. In general the rooms were nice, but in need of some freshening up. Carpet in the room was a bit grungy with many spots. Missing some simple things like a trash bin in the bathroom. Beds were clean and comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was nice, but a few too many greasy items and not enough healthy alternatives. Beware of the 1/2hr lineups for waffles, there's only 1 waffle iron and it seems every kid in the hotel wants a waffle!

Court yard and pool area was beautiful, with two swimming pools, two hot tubs, waterfalls and a waterslide. Good music and entertainment in the pool area throughout the day.

Not enough shuttle departure times to and from Disney World. They should add a few more scheduled departures during the day.

“Good hotel, great location”

Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration

Mar 29, 2007

We booked this hotel upon our first stay in Orlando. Not knowing what to expect we booked it and hopped for the best. We arrived at this hotel early int he afternoon. It was fairly basic but was in a good location. We had to change the room sevrel times because of a stale smell of somke lingerng. The staff were fairly friendly and this hotel is fairly close to disney but is somewhat iscolated and has quite a dead atmosphere. I guess if all you want is a room at an ok price its good, but if you are not planning on visiting any paks then I would think twice before staying here!

We stayed at the Radisson Celebration on Saturday March 17, 2007 for only one night. The process for checking in was slow and that is where we discovered we did not get the king size bed we confirmed, we instead had two queen beds, sleep by number like we have at home, but still 2 smaller beds. It was our wedding anniversary so it kind of made things a bit annoying. The front desk staff was not very helpful and told us they were sold out and didn't even try to look and see if the correct room type was available. There were many vacant places in the parking area. The room was fine, clean and nicely decorated. Small refridgerator and also a coffee maker, we didn't use, so I am not certain of it's quality. Plenty of towels, and good soaps. Our room faced a nice pool area, there are two that we saw. We only had an included breakfast buffet the next morning, so we did not try the restaurant for dinner. The breakfast buffet was okay, just very crowded in the entry and slow in seating people, large dining room, but half was closed off. Too many guests for that small of an area. All in all it was fine, just a bit disappointing on the room type and the 45 minutes in line at the front desk, while one person worked and three others chatted with each other and giggled. While it is nice that they have multilingual clerks it would be nice if they also spoke functional english since they are in Florida.

“We had a good stay”

Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration

This hotel could definitely use some improvements, but we had a great stay. Our room was very clean and the service was great. Yes, there was an old worn chair in the room; newer furniture would've been nice. The sleep number beds were comfortable. They did change our sheets during our stay. We could've really used a microwave in the room.
The pools were clean and nice. However, we were disappointed that the heated pool was not the one with the slide (one of the reasons we chose this hotel). The staff held activities during the day at the pools. The hot tubs were clean; however, one was not hot enough and the other one was too hot. They closed them down on our last day for cleaning (and hopefully, temperature check). Really nice landscape, relaxing environment.
The breakfast buffet was average; however, the cooked to order omelets were great. It was nice to have a Starbucks on site. We ate at the deli several times and everything was good, Pizza Hut pizza, burgers and great cuban sandwiches. We also ordered room service and had no problems. The pasta entree was good, but my daughter's chicken tenders were not that great. The ice machines were broke for a while, but were fixed the next day. I think it is a nice hotel with good service overall if you are not too picky.
