Decor is a little outdated (think 1980's) but clean and functional. 2 out of the 3 TVs were recent model LCDs which was great. Kitchen was well equiped (dishwasher. washer/dryer , great stove, they even included supplies to get you through the first few days!). Huge tub/jacuzzi. Each unit is huge, they even have a backdoor and terrace. Very friendly staff, very safe and nice location (away from the International Drive traffic jams but close enough if you need to go there. 5 min tops to Disney via HWY 192 entrance. Has a great pool, tennis court. Small supermarket within walking distance, a big Publix one just 2 traffic lights away and a huge Super Target 7 min away, HWY 192 was never congested. Book early to get the best rates! They did mention the free breakfast (time share ppt) but were never pushy when I said no thanks.

We got sick of the really nice hotels, with clean rooms and amazing grounds, but the two queen beds in the room, even if we got a suite, they only include two beds. t was great when it was just my wife and I, but when our two boys came along, it was hard to sleep well during the night. We also had to take a day of the vacation and spend most of it doing laundry at some shady laundromat. (we didnt feel like paying $5 per sock at the hotel) Separate rooms in a condo was the solution. I was a bit hesitant about staying here, but I did my homework read the reviews and asked for a renovated third floor (quieter) unit, and that is exactly what I received upon check in. It was very clean, I loved the layout, nice furniture, we had a great time at the pool. When it comes to hotels, I am a hard guy to please, but this place was awesome!

Not a top notch property. Kitchen cabinets did not sync with each other..You had to open one to get at the second one. Lighting extremely poor, especially in second bedroom. Nothing I would recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised at how big, nice, and clean our unit was. We stayed in E304. It was a short walk to the pool through a nice little nature trail. I was very happy with the large jetted tub in our bathroom. We come to Orlando every year and we usually like try out new places, but I think we may decide to come back to Parkway International again next year.

We looked at several resorts both on and off property... our date range and time share availability brought us here to the Parkway International. At first a little disappointed that it was not on Disney property changed to a perfect Disney Vacation once checked in! Upon arriving at the resort the room was clean quiet and conveniently located with lots for the kids to do. Our first day trip was to Animal Kingdom only a few minutes from the resort and not a bad drive at all. Our second and third days landed us at Magic Kingdom again a very short car ride. The resort was absolutely perfect for our family comfortable and not over crowded at all. The kids loved the little nature trails, pools, playground, and the short walk to the ice cream stand :-) We will defiantly stay here again and recommend this to friends on their future stays!

Room Tip: We did not use the room service so I am not sure that it is even available!

We were traveling to Disney and the low price, two bedroom condo and close proximity to Disney all helped make our decision to stay there. We typically stay at Marriott Resorts but had a large group that chose Parkway over the Marriott options.

Check in: Knew our flight was getting in well before the check in time so I requested early check in when I made the reservation online and called the week and day before we arrived. I have two small children and keeping them occupied after a long plane ride was going to be impossible. Staff was not helpful at all. Just kept telling me that check in was at 4 and they couldn't guarantee anything. Stopped by the front desk twice upon our arrival to see if a room was available and the girl was not helpful and had no clue when a room would be ready. Really? We travel a lot and all other resorts are helpful in finding early check in options so it seemed odd that she had no clue when a room would be ready. Also asked if they knew of any places to eat close by while we waited for a room and neither person at the desk had any clue where any food places were. However, 5 miles down the road were tons of chain restaurants which we found through googling on our smart phones.

Accommodating: We were traveling with a group of 6 separate rooms/reservations and each of us requested that we were in close proximity to each other when making the reservations. Each of us called the week before to request this again and each time we asked they said there was no way to do this. It was up to who checked out and who checked in at what time. While I can understand this to an extent, it seems that they could look into this a little bit and see if they could do something for us. While some were in Building C and the rest in Building B, the rooms were not close to each other. Also, one member of our group asked for a ground floor condo as they could not do stairs easily and there were no elevators. Again, were told that they cannot control the room and you will get what you get.

Room: You get what you pay for. It wasn't filthy but it wasn't clean either. Kids took their shoes off and their white socks were black fairly quickly. Appliances were extremely noisy but very little noises from surrounding rooms. Master bedroom/bath had very poor lighting and no clock. The bathroom sink was so tiny and the shower head aimed right at the shower door (even after I angled it down). TVs were dated, no Blu-ray player, beds not comfortable, no place to hang wet towels after a shower etc. Again, you get what you pay for.

Facilities: Eh. Pool was okay but just a pool. The cabana was okay but served overpriced beverages. The menu was just a bunch of fried food selections and it appeared that the bartender was also the cook or prep guy. I was trying to pay my tab and he was in the back cutting raw chicken. While he was very sanitary, had gloves on and washed his hands before getting my bill, it just seemed odd to me. Food was okay but again nothing to rave about. Walking trail was not maintained and lots of wobbly boards. Playground was horrible. Never saw the exercise room.

Overall, the condo served its purpose. It was large, close to Disney and inexpensive. I would be extremely disappointed if I had paid any more than what I had for this room so I still gave it an average rating. I personally will not be back- would rather pay the extra money for the conveniences that come with a nicer resort.

Room Tip: Ask to have a view of the pool - those rooms seemed to be slightly updated and maintained more.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

We looked at several resorts as we were planning our spring break vacation this year. There were many to choose from that we just were not sure. We thought about staying at a hotel that has two bedroom suites, with a kitchenette, that we had stayed at before. That resort was nice, but we really wanted to find something comparable with a full kitchen.

When we found Parkway we considered it for several days. After some consideration and research we made our reservations. There are several buildings on the property, only a short walk to the pool. With two young girls we asked if possible to have a condo nearest the pool, and on the first floor. Both requests were placed on our reservations.

We arrived in Orlando a little before the normal check in. We stopped at the resort, hoping our room would be ready. The front desk staff was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The room that fulfilled our requests was not quite ready, but we were offered similar units if we wanted elsewhere. We opted to wait the extra 90 minutes to get the first floor condo nearest the pool.

A quick trip to Target for a few groceries and then we returned to find our condo ready and waiting. Check in went very smooth. We were concerned about time share presentations, but we simply checked no regarding time shares during check in. We drove around the corner to the building that our condo was in. Entered through the front door and was very pleased with what we saw. Our room looked exactly like the professional pictures, which was a welcome surprise.

The layout was nice, and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking and dining utensils. We were able to make several meals throughout the week with ease, saving a lot of money on our food budget. Within few minutes of checking in we found the drain stopper was stuck in the closed position. A call to the front desk and within10 minutes maintenance responded and had the parts replaced allowing the stopper to work fine our entire stay.

The beds were very comfortable, allowing us all to recharge after a busy day at the area parks. Every place we went throughout the resort appeared in good repair and very clean. Our girls loved the pool area. They had several activities during the week for the kids. Our schedule was so busy that we never had a chance for the girls to participate.

The only problem that wasn't resolved was the internet. We checked in on Saturday and on Sunday we called because of internet problems. The staff was quick to respond, suggesting we talk over our issues with the company that maintains the wireless internet for the entire property. Monday morning a repairman stopped by our condo after repairs were made on the equipment servicing our building. It was up and running without any issue, until Wednesday evening. Thursday morning I again called the service and was advised others had called. A service ticket had been opened on our building again Wednesday evening with no idea when it may be repaired. At time of checkout we still didn't have internet.

Many reviews we read when considering Parkway mentioned internet issues. I wondered if they had brought it to the attention of the property management. We did, and the employees did the best they could to resolve the issue. Brighthouse Networks, unfortunately seem to have a few issues in maintaining adequate service for the resort.

Overall, we loved this resort and would not hesitate to stay there again. The condo fulfilled all of our expectations in regards to cleanliness, state of repair, functionality, and comfort. The girls loved the theme throughout the resort, which was carried into the condo décor. The internet issue was a bit disappointing, but I was able to use the business center a couple times to check in on work.

The resort was close to Route 4, right off of Route 192. Travel to, and from, all the parks we visited was very easy. The staff respected our wishes regarding time share presentations and we never received any calls to schedule a presentation. We feel that we received good value for our money and would surely recommend this resort to anyone who is considering it.
