“Good on a budget”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2012

This is a budget hotel and can not pretend to be anything else. But if you want to see the mouse and want to keep down the cost this is a great place. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly by Connie at the front desk or Juan, the master of all trades maintainance man. The pool is heated and sunny, the rooms are kept clean, and there are about a hundred eateries within a ten minute walk. There are free park shuttles and coffee, juice, and donuts for breakfast.
Watch out though for the $6 facility fee which is not in posted prices but this seems to be becoming standard in Florida. Still good value for your buck.We return every year.

Room Tip: Very noisy at very front of property

A friend and I stayed here for one night during our trip to the Magic Kingdom. After 14 hours at the park, we were so tired and were welcomed by Shane at the front desk who checked us in quickly, making us laugh and feel like we were family.

For the location and the price, we will stay here on all of our Disney excursions. Thank you Knights Inn!

Room Tip: all rooms are on the ground floor:)

"I'd like a different room." I said to the Knight's Inn front desk on the evening of Friday, January 13.

My original room #307 had two people in it when I unlocked and opened the door. The clothed woman in the far bed loudly blurted "WHAT!??!" I stammered out "sorry", closed the door, and returned to the main lobby.

The lobby's front desk woman with the fashionable fingernails corrected the 'credit card' style key to room #308.

Per the instructions on the inventory card, I reported three missing items to the front desk: one wash cloth, one hand towel, and one TV remote.

The room's carpeting was a mini-minefield, with surprise walnut-size bumps hidden below.

The morning daylight found its way into the room through a small narrow space in the door.

The shower was powerful and had plenty of hot water. The bed was comfy. I ignored the cigarette burns on the bedspread. This was my second stay at this Knight's Inn, and with its great location and low price, I am likely to return.

It is great having parking immediately nearby, at one's doorstop. I stayed 3 nights here on this trip.

But each morning, I packed up everything, and moved it to the trunk of the rental car.

Desk Clerk friendly, linens and bathroom clean, beds comfortable, carpets worn, tired and not fresh, had a small pool. All rooms are on ground level with an outside door and parking is directly in front of the door. Continental breakfast was coffee, orange juice (not tang or Koolaid) and Robin’s egg doughnuts. Free WiFi did not work until the IT guy arrived to reboot the system in the morning. Location: right on Disney’s door step. Certainly nothing fancy but cannot complain at the rock bottom price.

Room Tip: Request a room at the end of the row so you do not get traffic and headlights past your window.

We are nearing the end of our second 3 day stay in a month! Two different rooms, but no problems at all..Not a palace, but the price is right. What on earth do people expect for less than 40 $(inclunding everything)?

The only thing that surprised me on my first morning was the "continental breakfast"---I am used to a lot more than mini doughnuts and coffee, but again after some thought I realise that the cost must prevent management from much more...Always plenty of coffee and if the doughnut bin is empty, they refill it right away..

Never had anything but polite decentr talks with the front desk even though I may ask a few dumb questions...Bottom line is each morning I look out and the place is pretty full so they must be doing something right!!!

I believe some people just love to complain, and while I am sure there are some legitimate complaints for the most part this motel is the one for me and my family now and for future visits..There are plenty of high priced places, but if you are looking for a budget motel that doesn't scrimp on cleanliness, this is the place--

Oh yeah to help you save even more, the fridge and microwave in each room goes a long way rather than eating out 3 meals a day-------Jeffrey P Brown,Hudson Florida...

Stayed here in July 2011 because it was very cheap and near Disney and other parks. First, the staff. At the front desk when we were there was a woman and a man who I believe was the manager. The woman was indifferent. I interacted with her several times and it seemed that she struggled to be nice. I received a forced smile, but that was about it. She was otherwise very cold. The man was quite friendly. He is, however, deluded as to the condition of his property. I heard him telling someone how nice the rooms were. Remodeled and very nice. They are not. That person went and looked at one and then came back and left. The rooms were freshly painted, but not well. The furniture was old and freshly painted as well and the paint was tacky to the touch. There were ring marks on the furniture where cups and such had been placed on the surface and pulled up the paint. The rug was horrible. It was like cheap green outdoor carpeting you would put on your porch. There were also parts of the floor where there were large bumps. They had apparently carpeted over what felt like small blocks of wood. Very strange. The bathroom was remodeled and actually half way decent. However, the drain would not close in the tub. We had to stuff it with towels to take a bath. I told the staff about it at the front desk, but it was never fixed. There was no TV remote in the room. I called the desk and they told me I had to come back there to get one. The one they gave me was covered in crud and all sticky. Very few channels on TV. The beds were fine and sheets appeared clean. The room was also at least clean and bug free. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean, even if rather small. They did have a complimentary continental breakfast that consisted of little donuts (like dunkin donuts munchkins), orange juice and coffee. There are not coffee makers in the rooms. Bottom line, I would probably not stay here again even at the price unless I really could not afford more. If your budget is very limited, then at least this place is clean and conveniently located near Disney.

stayed there for 4 nights september 2011. if you just need a place to sleep and shower.....this is it. If you need a room to hang out in and spend your vacation in......go somewhere else. the room was clean, the beds and linens were clean. the shower head did leak, and spray all over the bathroom, there were holes in the wall that had been poorly patched. air conditioner worked well, the place is old, and a little run down, the paint on the walls must be a half inch thick.....but who cares, like I siad,,,,if you are just sleeping and showering there.....its perfect, and very nicely priced! located centrally for all the attractions, shopping and restaurants.....we would definately stay there again! friendly office staff, the room attendants did not speak the best english, but helped where needed.
