Friendly staff and comfortable living accomodation more than made up for the tatty condition of the kitchen area (although I have to stress it was spotlessly clean!!). The mattresses were too hard for my old bones (never thought about mentioning it to the housekeeping staff :( ) Loved the idea of washing machine and dryer being upstairs - makes the whole laundry thing soooooooooo much easier - I know it's quite common in the US, but not in the UK. Small windows do make it dark - but at the same time protects the interior from the harsh Florida sunshine and keeps it nice and cool :) Over all our family of two adults and two children found it very comfortable and would happily go again (especially if those kitchen units are due for an over haul). Only small moan was the scantiness of the 'welcome' pack - two sachets of coffee whitner, no sugar and one sachet of ground coffee, one of decaff - and NO TEA BAGS!!!!!!!

We had already booked our Florida trip through Expedia before we discovered the trip advisor review site. Some of the reviews were so bad we tried to change our lodging. Finally, we called Fantasy World.
They could not understand the poor reviews but assured us that we would have a very pleasant stay. All of our fears were put to rest when we arrived. The rooms looked just like the virtual tour. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable & everything was very clean. The grounds were well maintained & pools & recreation were close by. The desk staff was the best we have encountered, very friendly & helpful!
Regarding the bad reviews: I guess some people are just hard to please, if they want to stay at the Ritz they should be prepared to pay for it.
We have 2 children in college and for the money this was an excellent place to stay. Being able to cook our meals, do our own laundry & housekeeping allowed us to keep our trip on budget. Fantasy World Villa helped to make our vacation a memorable one. We would not hestitate to recommend it to our friends & relatives.

After reading some of these reviews, it was with much apprehension that I kept our reservations at Fantasy World Club Villas. Once we arrived, all that anxiety disappeared. The staff was all very nice and accommodating. We complained about our mattress as we left for the day only to arrive back later to find a new mattress with the bed remade for us. The Villa is just as you see it on the web virtual tour.
Everything worked fine in the house. The kids loved the pool, basketball courts, and arcade area. It is very close to all the area attracions and several resturants. While it is not a 4-star resort, it is well worth the short money you spend. We had a great time and would not think twice about returning.

stayed jan. 04. just like virtual tour showed. close to everything.great value for my working class family. kitchen showing age but functional.pool's clean. went through expedia, and got better than any advertised rate. I would go back , because for us its just a place to sleep and eat. Was as clean as our house. We had no supprise's there, successful outing.
