“Reasonable...Has it's flaws.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

The staff at the main desk and the cleaning staff here was very friendly and helpful to us. BUT the LAUNDRY situation was horrible and inexcusable. There is over 400 suites in this hotel and out of the four standard-sized washer machines, ONLY ONE of them worked! THIS has gone on for weeks (perhaps longer?) Out of the eight dryers, only TWO worked (sometimes!) The nearest Laundromat was over 20 minutes away... Several hotel guests had called the Ramada corporate office and complained to them as well as to the front desk about this. Promises were made that the repairs would be made in a couple of days but it never was. We personally spoke to the corporate office. I had to dry all of my washed clothes outside on lawn chairs at poolside in the hot sun. I saw one woman complaining because her laundry was STOLEN from a dryer! (That's why I NEVER leave my laundry unattended because some people are "ghetto" and grimy enough to steal someone's laundry! And there was some ghetto-rough-trade people downstairs near the laundry room! Some OBNOXIOUS people from local restaurants kept sneaking into the building to shove piles of flyers under everyone's doors. We slipped on these flyers as the floors were littered with them, and a few people started posting signs on their doors telling them not to shove any more flyers under their doors. (But it still continued). There was no iron in our room. One of the elevators broke down and came apart and looked rather scary. The hot tub was overrun with kids a lot of the time, and it was annoying that people had no regard for the rules posted about not running around the lobby area in wet bathing suits, and not to have kids unattended in the hot tub. All of it was happening, and the floor right in front of the elevators and IN the elevators was constantly WET. Some of the children were rude, running amuck in everyone's way, pressing all the elevator buttons, wasting everyone's time. A few guests were very polite. The food at the buffet is exactly that: BUFFET FOOD. It's nothing exceptional. Breakfast is their best one, in my opinion. Scrambled eggs, French toast, grits, gravy, bread for toast, English muffins, pancakes, make-your-own waffle station, fruit, peanut butter and jam, sausage and bacon. Not bad. Lunch or dinner is hit or miss with the selection, and the quality is often sub-par. Not handmade. But the lasagna is good if you like that. I did NOT like the looks of the Mexican food, so I ate at the Sizzler. The bar has great drink specials during happy hour. The gift shop has many things that you might need during your stay, including milk, food, toiletries, medicines, postcards, and gifts like shirts, hats and things. The snacks in that shop are a little overpriced, and you really should hit Wal Mart for those if you can get there, but the staff is friendly. The exercise room is disappointing. It is much smaller, and the photo of it is an illusion because there's a mirror, which makes it appear larger with more equipment than what's in there. There is NO elliptical. There is one treadmill, one exercise bike, and only a few machines for the arms, chest and legs. There's a TV in there. The channels on TV are not many at all! We watched Shark Week, Breaking Amish and Honey Boo Boo... Hahaha. The Wi-Fi is not so great, either. It was running slow or not at all most of the trip. We had to get the router reset in the place three times, and other people were also complaining. We were lucky enough to get our boarding passes printed at the computer and printer in the main lobby. The front doors were not working properly. The bus that transports people to and from the amusement parks was a nightmare. Going to Disney wasn't bad, but when we returned, it was TERRIBLE. We got to the bus stop 1 hour and 45 minutes early, and people who got to the bust stop after us had the NERVE to rush in front of us and we got crushed in the stampede of RUDE #!$@%*&! who didn't care to wait their turn. Some showed up 5 minutes before the bus arrived but they stampeded us without any regard. So we fought our way onto the bus, and the driver said NOTHING about everyone getting crushed, children, disabled and elderly alike. Then he asked for a tip. (Well, I'VE got a TIP for you: DO YOUR JOB RIGHT AND LOOK OUT FOR THE SAFETY AND CONSIDERATION OF OTHERS!) The package price was not bad. We would consider staying there ONLY if they make some much needed revisions on their laundry room, internet, and their dinner and lunch menu, as well as get at least one more bus to transport hotel guests to and from the parks. Having one bus crowded as hell and it picks up before you can see all of the fireworks, is NOT good. Also, our air conditioner was noisy as hell, and kept making LOUD clunking noises as we slept.

Room Tip: If you need to sleep early, don't get a room where you can hear noise from the pool area. The k...

This motel was filthy, the flooring throught the hotel had loose tiles that will eventually lead to lawsuits when someone is seriously injured. The motel double charged for our "resort fee" (this is no resort, just a fee to make up for booking through travel site) When advised they would not correct until after checking out. The WIFI did not work from within the hotel, the staff had no answers. The staff was rude, didn't care about any issues brought up, and very lacking of customer service and knowledge. The maids stole from our room while we were out. The pool was unusable due to the excessive amount of chlorine being used. The rooms had air filters that are way past the 6 month change requirements, they have possibly been there for years. Judging by the other reviews this is on par. Sad I usually love Ramadas.

After reading the reviews for this hotel i was expecting the worst but was quite surprised. You need to bear in mind you get what you pay for, The hotel clearly needs a facelift and the rooms and facilities need updating however look past that and i gort a decent stay for the money, Rooms were cleaned daily, staff were friendly location was good not far from disney. Food though not spectacular was available vuia all you can eat buffet style. Indoor pool was the main feature of the hotel and was certainly well used. All in All not a bad 2 week stay for the money.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago and it has to be the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. Please, please please read the reviews and so not stay here. It is dirty, bathtub was backed up and gross, door lock was broken, safe was broken and we had to take our valuables with us to Disney. The staff could care less.
