“Awsome. Large well equipped condos, really helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2009

Wow! We were in a fantastic 3 bed condo that was immaculate and enormous. To start from the beginning, the resort is located off the 192 Irlo Bronsen Highway, right at the western end, just before you get to the 27. There's a big sign before the junction telling you it's next left at the lights. Half a mile down the side road and you find the main gate on the right. Unfortunately the road hasn't made it into satnav/gps yet, and the flag on the Tripadvisor Google Maps is way out, so just keep going west on the 192 - if you get to the 27 you've gone too far.
Reception is in the resort club building, and the staff could not have been more helpful. They'll sort out any small problems, give advice on nearby shops and chat about the attractions. On to the condo - parking right outside the block, and a lift to all floors. Our three bed condo was vast! Serious danger of losing people inside. The condo was immaculately clean, housekeeping obviously having taken great care on presentation, so first impressions were good, just what you need after a long journey. The condo was very well equipped, ice making fridge, TVs in each bedroom and the lounge, more towels than we knew what to do with, and free internet access via an ethernet cable in the lounge (so only one laptop on line at a time - but you're meant to be on vacation, not in the office!), and a small welcome pack.
Resort facilities include an infinity pool - I thought it looked a bit small on Google Earth for the number of units, but "in the flesh" it is fine. Hot tub, sauna and steam room available as well as a small fitness center, and complimentary coffee and cookies in the clubhouse as well as a very small shop. There is internet access there, but $4 for 15 minutes seems steep - I think they would get more takers at say $1. It does make it worth taking a laptop, if only to check on park opening times.
Location: Great for Disney, probably less than 15 minutes (we didn't do Disney this time). Universal looks on the map to be completely on the other side of Orlando, but it is still only half an hour, with Seaworld slightly less. For those with an aviation interest, Fantasy of Flight is less than an hour away. Shopping: there's a Publix left and right on the 192, a Super Target right, and a Walmart just north on the 27.
We were there at a quiet time (last week in October) but the units looked around 40-50% occupied, judging by the cars. It's actually a great time to visit, as there are no lines in the parks - my son took me on The Incredible Hulk about an hour before closing, and we walked straight on, same with Duelling Dragons.
You will have read about the cleaning charge - but if you factor in the fantastic rate you are getting, it isn't so bad.
Oh,
All in all, we had a fantastic few days, and really couldn't fault the resort management or the quality of the condo. Go for it!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo at the beginning of November for 2 weeks. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but we needn't have worried. We knew we had chosen the right place as soon as we turned into the entrance . Everything about the resort was well kept , new looking and very quiet.
The staff were all welcoming, helpful and very friendly . We never experienced any negativity during the whole of our stay .
The condo we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. All of the rooms were very spacious clean and well equipped with new furniture and appliances .
The bedrooms all had walk in closets with spare bedding and were very well appointed . ( The beds were slightly hard but we slept really well every night . )
The kitchen had everything we needed with a gigantic fridge freezer, including an ice maker. A nice big microwave and a huge cooker, everything again was well maintained and clean.
The two bathrooms were a joy ! The master bedroom had an enormous garden tub which was really relaxing at the end of the day and a lovely big shower room to wake you up in the morning. The second bathroom also had a nice shower room and normal sized tub.
We spent several very relaxing evenings eating out on the balcony which was netted to keep out the bugs and also had a large ceiling fan to help keep you cool which was a nice added extra.
The pool was a little on the small size for the amount of buildings on the complex however when we visited it was very quiet and we sometimes had it to ourselves. The water was heated and very clean and I particularly liked the infinity design .
Just to mention that the resort did have public computers with printers that we could use in the club room at a cost of 4 dollars per 1/4 hour. That was fine for us as we only wanted to use them to check in for our flight home.
To summarise we would definitely book the resort again and were very happy with our stay .

Had a great 2 bedroom condo. Easily accomodated Mom, Dad, and three kids. Close to Universal, SeaWorld, and Magic Kingdom. The pool area is beautiful. Kids loved the free video rentals. Very clean, and all the ammenities of home.

I stayed at Caribe Cove Resort in October 2009 with my family (spouse, 2 kids 5 and 7 and their grand-mother). We really enjoyed this place. We had a 2 bedroom condo on the 4th floor. The condo was large, spotless and quiet. We especially enjoyed having 2 balconies, where we could sit and enjoy watching some hot air balloons land on the vacant lot accross the streat. We used the pool a couple of times; it was clean and well maintained. It is a 15 minute drive to Disney, which we found very convenient. The only negative comment I have about this place is that the kitchen wasn`t very well stocked. For example, there was no foil, no plastic wrap, no salt or pepper and no filter for the coffee maker. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

This is a lovely resort with friendly and extremely helpful staff on site.

Nice relaxing pool area and club house with good selection of amenities. The grounds were excellently maintained and spotlessly clean, as was the apartment we stayed in. The location is also good for restaurants, supermarkets with theme parks being a short ride away.

Apartment was very spacious, master bedroom had ensuite bathroom with toilet, shower, bath and two sinks !

All other rooms were of a good size and very clean upon entering.

Caribe Cove itself was very quiet, the sort of place more suited to families/ couples/ friends without children in my opinion. No play areas for example.

Not sure how well the resort is doing as Security Front Desk and barrier never in placeand evening Customer Service staff seemed more interested in personal calls and "were not form this area".

The communal pool was also quiet and clean.

Had a great time at a great price. Having been to Windsor Hills would probably pay the extra to go there next time (and WH is also not as far down the 192).

Caribe Cove gets an all round thumbs up from here !

I was so pleased with Caribe Cove in every aspect. Front desk attendents where helpful and gave great suggestions and tips. The rooms where more then we expected and so roomy. It was in a quiet location away from the busy roads but 5 minutes drive to everything you could want. (15 minutes to all the theme parks). There is a super Walmart 5 minutes down the road to get anything you want. One suggestion is to get bottle water while your at Walmart. The water in the Orlando area is very bleachy tasting and was horrbile to drink, even to make coffee. Great place, great price! Would suggest this place to everyone I know.
