We booked a three-bedroom townhouse directly from the owner for 80 dollars a night and the home itself was excellent value for money. The complex is less than a year old and, in the one we rented, everything was spotless and in pristine condition.
The facilities looked good at first glance, however there were numerous problems during our stay, which despite complaints, were never addressed and indeed only got worse.
Firstly, there is a real litter problem in this complex.
On the short walk from our home to the pool there were usually beer bottles, half-finished Starbucks coffees and soda cups lying on the sidewalks, in the bedding plants and all around the parked cars. Then, at the patio beside the pool, the bins would be left overflowing with garbage for days and as a result more trash would be thrown over the fence into the pool area.
I can also confirm the previous reviewers observations about teenagers milling around and could see this as a problem during the busier summer months. Indeed one morning during our stay we found the play area and basketball court left covered in (of all things) shaving foam, beer bottles and lots of other trash, from the night before. I can’t say what had happened but we felt fortunate that our rental was on the other side of the complex.
If you want to be convenient for the Disney parks, and the shops and restaurants on US192 then this would be a good location for a large or extended family (on a budget) to stay - but for 3 or 4 nights maximum.
However, if you were planning to spend a lot of time by the pool, maybe with kids, then I would suggest that the problems in this complex might not make your vacation as relaxing as you would like.
