“Nice Vacation Community.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Terra Verde Resort is close to Disney. By car it took only 15 minutes.
Yet it was a very quiet resort with beautiful landscaping.
Friendly Staf at gate and reception.
The poolwater was somewhat too hot and therefore not very refreshing.

Room Tip: We rented a townhouse directly from owner. Was perfect. Everythink you could think of of utensils in...

Fifth year back to Terra Verde location to the airport and parks is perfect and nice to be able to escape the hustle and bustle after a hard day in Disney and relax back to a nice quite place with spectacular wildlife and walks around the lake. However this year we were very disappointed by the pool and Tikki bar area they seem to be looking for "SPRING BREAKKKK" type crowd rather then Disney holiday families with very loud music a DJ and Karaoke
several families we met had to leave the pool area because it was just to much.
more achy breaky eardrums then achy breaky heart having spoke to several people I think we may look at Windsor Hills next year similar resort with more amenities.

We are a family of 5 (husband, wife, 5 year old twins and Grandma) from Ontario Canada.
We spent 7 nights at the Terra Verde Resort. We stayed at 199 Hideaway. This house is clean, decorated beautifully and has a large pool and patio. It was nice for our family to swim in our own private pool! Staying in a house is such a nice change from a small hotel room. Here everyone has their own bedroom with tvs and bathroom. So nice to be able to get the kids to bed and go for a swim in the pool or watch a little tv without waking them up. You definately can't do that in a hotel room. When staying as a family in a hotel room the adults have to go to bed at the same time as the kids or they wake up from the noise of the tv, shower etc. Having a full kitchen is handy for breakfast, snacks and getting takeout. Why pay the same price to stay in a small hotel room when you can have a house with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and your own private pool! This house is managed by Unique Florida Homes. Their office is located right at Terra Verde. I would highly recommend renting a house from this company. Their homes are clean and well maintained. They have lots of rentals that they manage at this resort. We love Terra Verde! The resort is very clean and features beautiful landscaping with lots of palm trees, wild life, pond etc. The resort pool is large and there is also a hot tub and sauna. Resort also has a children's playground, volleyball court, basketball court, ping pong etc. It is a very safe, gated community with a guard at the gate 24hrs. All staff here are friendly and helpful. This resort is located in a fantastic location. It is only a 5 minute drive from the main street which has hundreds of restaurants, coffee shops, fast food, pharmacy, grocery store, souviners etc. Even Walmart and shopping malls are only a ten minute drive. Disney theme parks, SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove, Universal Studios is a 15min drive. The cost of a rental car is very reasonable and gas is very cheap compared to Canada! They make pickup and drop off of the rental cars very easy and convenient directly at the airport. Overall this resort community feels like home! We are returning to Terra Verde this September for a 8 night stay. I have already booked a house at Terra Verde from a owner on VRBO. We can't wait to return to this beautiful resort! This resort will give us a spacious, luxurious place to stay while we have fun exploring at Discovey Cove, Aquatica, SeaWorld and Bush Gardens!

Traveled with family of 5 with one 4-year-old kind, and we stayed at 4752 Vero Beach. Big townhouse, and my family enjoy to stay there, around 20 minutes away from Disney, close to Walmart, so easy to buy stuffs there. At first the hot-tub has leaking, after call customer service, they sent someone to fix it right away. The mattresses were not impression, when sit or sleep on it, it sounds weird. However, i will like go back there again. Good experience.

We lived at 161 Castaway Beach Way, Terra Verde, supplied via Flights 2 Florida.

On arrival we found the doors to a walk in cupboard hanging against the wall, we telephoned the Management Company immedialtel as concerned about the safety as we had a 4 year old with us, still waiting on a response from them and Flights 2 Florida.

On inspection of the pool we found that that there was no onsite pool equipment so we had to borrow from the next Villa to keep the pool surface clear. It was also obvious that the pool had not had a good clean for sometime as several dead bugs on the bottom again no assistance from the management team resonsible for the villa. Which brings me to another point advised by F2F that villa was occupied prior to our arrival this was discounted by people at 163 who advised had seen no sign of life in the week prior to our arrival.

The general cleanliness of the villa was poor, dust could be seen on all surfaces backing up claim that no one had been in situ prior to our arrival and on further inspection dead bugs found behind sofa in lounge area along with nail clippings.

All in all a nice villa in a convenient area spoiled by lack of supervision inside and outside.

Room Tip: When showering make sure that not all in use at one time as this tends to lead to the hot water fail...

Yes there are fancier locations but this one makes you feel like home.Gated security and features not found at some hotels. We stayed on Delray beach and the home was neat and tidy.Nice pool and our property manager was professional and their staff pleasant. Alexander holiday homes never failed us in our past 3 visits and this visit was just as good. The only thing i noticed was the entrance road is quite busy during peak times.Best to check in at the club house soon after you arrive to get a gate pass.

Room Tip: Travel times to Disney can double if you are late risers.Highway 192 is always clogged with cars aft...

We rented our villa from the UK direct with the owners via VBRO. We stayed at 4655 Goldenbeach Court. Terra Verde was all we hoped for. It has a good resort pool and tikki bar, we tried it once but were driven away by kids trying to sing karaoke, but it looks very nice. The resort is immaculate, very well maintained and is very well located. Security is very good and the resort is well placed to reach all the attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. There seems to be a large range of homes from smaller town houses to huge villas.
