“Recommended by the locals and not found wanting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

This restaurant was recommended by some local floridians after we said we enjoyed our pancake breakfast at ihop. The whole family (teenagers) loved it. Its about 50 dollars for 4 adults, including tip. The constant refills of strawberry iced tea are a must for thirsty teenagers after a morning at the parks.
We had the pancake breakfast, with eggs and bacon - more than enough to see us through till 7pm dinner.

“Wow, the service, the food, the ambiance, the shop......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

My only 5 star review on tripadvisor. Where do I stop, we loved the Cracker Barrell on W Irlo Bronson highway 192. Visited here twice for a huge welcome from Ginger from Georgia with one of the best accents and service in Florida. The food is amazing, proper home cooked foods that are in huge portion sizes that you cannot possibly eat. I would never eat a chicken roast for lunch but I could not resist it here and it was yummy. The breakfast is fabulous. Whatever you want, pancakes, bacon, sausage, egg with or without cheese, porridge, what we in Britain call scones, maple syrup, coffee. I could go on.....It totally caters for children and the inside is like an old barn with old American toys, tools, pictures and a shop to die for with Yankee Candles, old American sweets, cheap American football tops, amazing quilted blankets and traditional Southern rockers for sale. It is worth a visit just to relish in its delights. I found it amazing and I hope you do too.

“Good food , fair price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014 via mobile

Had breakfast here this morning, the family couldn't get though the pan cakes though, but there was nothing wrong with them. One thing though to british tastes appease in a sweet sauce are not a thing to have with fried meat!!!

“Very Americian food with a fabricated atmosphere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

Cracker Barrel's follow a pattern, the food is very Americian with grits etc on the menu (Not many Brits know what Grits is). The food is always hot and the service attentive, however the portions are not that big.

They have tried to re create a 1800's atmosphere, not sure it sucsessful in my eyes it seems to manifactured.

“A real homely feel of home-cooked food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

A real rustic experience in old time American surroundings. Lovely food at very reasonable prices, with a menu to suit all tastes not to mention their shops and very unusual merchandise.
Beware for those that enjoy a tipple with their food.....they do not serve alcohol
