BEWARE: Not very family friendly. We attempted to visit on a Sunday evening. Resturant did not look very busy, lots of open tables and lots of wait staff. With a 9 year old and 4 year old we were ushered to a table in the corner and then ignored for 20 minutes. Since the area we were in was near the door to the out door tables, we saw as many a 6 different members of the wait staff. Not one came to the table or offered to help even afer eye contact and attempts to wave them down. My wife went to look for the hostess or manager and could find no one. At that point we had had enough and went down the street to UNO's and were severed in a friendly manner. I dragged my family 6 miles out of our way to go here because of reviews on this website and others. Should not have bothered. Rt 192 is all torn up and over crowded. Not worth the hassle.

To be fair, the food smelled great, but that was as close as we got!

If your going to visit the Kissimmee area and you like mexican food then you've gotta visit Chevy's. Our family was in Florida on vacation to Disney and wanted to find a good mexican restaurant. We searched high and low and couldn't find one. Finally I stopped and asked someone and they suggested Chevy's. This was our first time there and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was nice (typical of most other mexican restaurants), the food was excellent, the salsa was phenominal and the service was outstanding! Our server (J Crowell) was very friendly and went out of his way to take great care of us. All of their food is made fresh and they don't use any canned items, WOW. The food was affordabley priced and there was more than enough to take back to our condo with us. We were so impressed I looked up where they had restaurants across the country hoping they had one in Michigan. No luck but hopefully someday! Enjoy!

I can't imagine not dining at Chevy's, from family to friends we all go and love all the great entrees and awesome appetizers . The surrounding is cozy and sexy. The drinks are just Fab! Very much still a Hip kid friendly place as well, they offer great kids meals and balloons, it looks like a real fiesta in there!
You must just go and try to save some room for dessert! Yummerzzz!!

We live in Kissimmee, and have been dining at Chevys for over 20 years! It had gone through a couple of name changes and "buy-outs", but is absolutely THE BEST Mexican restaurant around! The staff is very casual and friendly, so are the managers! EVERYTHING on the menu is great! Happy hour Mon-Fri 4-7 pm! Out door dining, too!
