We loved our stay at the Best Western Resort in Kissimmee. We were looking for a place that would accomodate our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children). We were also hoping for a place with a kitchen since we need to eat gluten free and wanted to be able to make our own meals and snacks. This place had both at an amazing value compared to other hotels in the area.
When we arrived, the guard asked us for our name and by the time I made it inside to check in, they had our paperwork all ready to be signed! When we didn't have a coffee replacement from the cleaning the day before, they sent someone right over with it.
Our villa had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedroom on the main floor had a queen size bed and a bathroom. The kitchen was also on the main floor with a sitting area and large HDTV.
One bedroom upstairs had two double beds and the other had a king. There was also a full bathroom upstairs. The beds were amazingly comfortable!
Everything is almost brand new and when asked they told us that it has only been open for about 6 months. I think we were the first to ever use the toaster as it had no crumbs in it all!
The pool is average. Nothing special, but it was at least heated nicely so our girls could swim in January weather. There was also a standard size hot tub that we enjoyed one evening.
We purchased our theme park tickets for 1-day tickets at Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios at the concierge desk and got a better rate than I could find online through reputable sellers. (There's not much discount to be had on 1-day tickets!)
The drive to Magic Kingdom took us about 15 minutes, but we left the hotel at about 8am. We were on the tram when we saw the fireworks go off announcing the opening of the park. Keep in mind, it was January and the parks were not all that busy!
We would definitely stay here again, if we were to visit the Orlando/Disney area again! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
