“DON'T COME HERE- IT IS AWFUL”

This place has not been updated in a long time. Only 2 buildings were. I am in a pet friendly unit yet I get complaints on my dog. The walls are paper thin and you can here some one sneeze next door. The cabinets look terrible, stains on carpet, old mattress and uncomfortable beds. The couch sinks in. The internet is crappy and weak. Only works good in pool area. Old ancient TV's. The Hot tub was not working yet they said it just broke and in fact according to other tenants it had been broke much longer. And it is still not working. Alligator in Pond. See pics. The pool does not have enough lawn chairs. 15 total for the resort and 25 of seating chairs. Seriously ridiculous.

We stayed at Festiva resort but it should be called "repugnante resort". Check in was okay. You have to pay extra for additional towels and sheets. There is also no maid service throughout your stay. Very disgusting. When we got to our room, the villa from the outside looked old and disgusting. When we got to our room, the carpet looked like it was from the 1900's as well as one bedroom. When we woke up the next morning, there was a trash bag outside of our room. In addition, there were maids cleaning next door who woke us up. They kept yelling and blasting music. Very rude. There are also dogs here and they bark like no tomorrow. The hotel has no rules like "if your dog cannot control itself than you must leave". There's also nothing here but a pool and basketball court for recreational stuff. Theres no place to even buy food or a small little restaurant. If you don't have a car, don't stay here. Theres a $12 per person shuttle which is outrageous. I suggest you don't even think about staying here and just stay on Disney property where you get your moneys worth. Shame on you festiva!!!!! I only stayed here for one night and I'm here for a couple more. Please pray for me!!!!!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. The location is great and a nice quiet area. Rooms were very dated and in need of a remodel. Most important for us is cleanliness and this place was very clean. Not much too do there. Hot tub and pool was very nice. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Internet was very slow.

Room Tip: Pet friendly

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend at the end of January. The resort is right off the main strip but far enough away to be quiet and away from traffic. Check in and check out were smooth. We were only bugged about timeshare info at check in and a call during our stay, it wasn't a big deal. The rooms are spacious and they include a washer and dryer which is necessary for towels as they don't have daily maid service. The room is completely stocked with everything you'll need- dish and laundry soap, paper towels, all dishes and utensils, dishwasher, an ice maker, pool towels.... The pool was quiet and well kept, looks pretty new. Nice jacuzzi to relax at. The only issues we really had were the mattress being too soft for our liking and the hot water for showers not lasting long enough.

This resort needs an update in the worse way. I don't know when it was built but I can guarantee the units have not been updated since then

The couch and chair in the living room are NASTY! Stains on the couch and the chair. The cushions on the kitchen chairs are nasty as well.

The curtains in the unit are old and discolored. The carpet in the unit is nasty and tattered. What more can I say? The televisions in the units are old although they did work

The staff wasn't rude but they most certainly weren't friendly.

The unit I was staying in backed to a pond which was nice, however there was an alligator in the pond (I'm not making this up). When I called the front desk, the man told me if I didn't bother it, it wouldn't bother me. That was a relief--NOT!

The only positive thing about the resort is that it is pet friendly and you can't find very many resorts in this area that are.

Unless you have a dog that needs to travel with you--DON'T STAY HERE!

We recently returned from a 10 day stay in Orlando. We spent our first 4 nights at Festiva Orlando Resort (this resort is now called Festiva).
Our check-in was fast and easy. Ben was super friendly and helpful.
We reserved a 2 bed/2 bath villa for a great rate. The room was dated, but clean. The furniture is scratched in places, there are stains on cushions....etc, but the floors, baths, toilets, kitchen...etc were clean. The tvs are dated as well. Again - the room had everything to make it feel like "home", but it just wasn't "top notch".
This is a great place for those that are literally sleeping over night and at the parks all day long. If you have young children that are looking for activities - this isn't the place for you. I went looking for a playground and where there used to be one, there isn't one now. There is a zero entry pool and a smaller pool with a sprinkler for children. This is it, though. If the days are too cold for the pool or it's raining out - there is nothing else to entertain kids. No arcade, no recreation from what I could tell outside of a basketball court. The resort isn't walking distance to anything either. If you don't have a car....you are stuck. No restaurants on premises.
I found service overall to be fantastic. We asked for a crib and highchair and it was delivered quickly. There was an issue with our dvd player and someone came to look at it quickly.
This is a no frills place. Again - if you want a place to lay your head, a quiet swim in a pool and no one bothering you in a dated (but clean) room.....I recommend this place. It's not awful. If you're looking for pool side drinks, entertainment, etc....look elsewhere. Oh - of the days we were there, there was only ONE night that there was security at the front. Keep this in mind, too.

This resort has a great pool and grounds. The units need updating and a good cleaning. There are not enough BarB-Q grills. We had to walk a long ways to get to one and our food would have been cold by the time we got back to our unit.

Room Tip: Next to the pool area
