I agree with the comments about the noisy rooms and the thin walls. We had an exteneded stay at the hotel and had lots of different people next to us. You can literally have a conversation with the people in the room next door using normal conversation voices. I asked the staff about it - they know it - they just shrug their sholders. One night, our neighbor decided to watch the TV at relatively normal volume, keeping us up well into the night. The walls are horrible and I would avoid this hotel.

On the other hand, this is almost the only hotel near WDW that accepts dogs (note: there are other hotels that accept dogs under 20 lbs aka hamsters in the area). The staff is great, responded very positively to the dogs. The hotel is next to a high power line Right of Way providing a place to walk dogs. And the staff told us about a great dog park in Orlando called Peebles Park. Several guests had dogs.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was great. The breakfast was decent. The pool was nice. And it is very close to WDW. You can get a good price - I heard the desk person quote a different price to several different phone calls. We had a Suite for under $100.

Since this is a fairly new hotel, the rooms were clean and in good shape. However, because the materials and fixtures that were used are cheap, this won't last long. The walls are thin so you hear alot of noise from the other rooms, especially the plumbing. The lobby and main areas are nice, the breakfast is included and is also good. It is very centrally located to everything, which is the best feature. There is a Walmart right across the street which is convenient for stuff to keep in the room since there are microwaves and refrigerators.

Stayed at La Quinta on Polynesian Blvd May 06, the hotel is fairly new and is in good decoritive order. The pool is great and also has a bubbly hot tub, the staff are friendly and helpful. The serve yourself buffet breakfast is great, there are bagels (plain and cinnamon) french toast, waffles and bread which can be toasted; coffee, tea, juices and milk; cereals, fresh fruit and yogurts; the breakfast is open from 7 to 10a.m. The hotel is 10 mins from Disney and has a HUGE Walmarts which sells absolutly everthing across the road. The only complaint is the noise, the walls are very thin and if you have loud guest next door you can hear every word they say, it is a shame because everthing else about the hotel is great. If they could soundproof the walls this hotel would be perfect.

The problem was the level of noise from adjoining rooms. The walls appear to be very thin. We could hear normal talking. The problem was made worse by people putting their television sets on far too loudly and late at night. The tv's are not in cabinets and therefore they resound through the walls. After 3 rooms we ended up in a suite which was perfect. There was no noise from other rooms at all.
I don't mind a bit of noise but when you cannot hear your own tv over the next door room it gets a bit much.
I would stay hear again but only in a suite.
The staff were great.
