This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed at as the walls and ceilings are "paper thin" enabling one to hear every noise from the adjoining rooms. It was especially bad when a loud group was in the next room. Called security repeatedly to no avail.
The manager was non responsive and took no responsibility for the problems. Had to stay in the hotel as other hotels were booked.
Also the first floor restrooms were not cleaned for several days.

As a professional meeting planner I spend a lot of time in high end resorts but when it comes to my personal travel I look for the best value and experience for my dollar and in Orlando I found it at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in LBV.

From the minute I walked into the hotel I loved it. The lobby was quaint and comforting (important after a long day of travel), the front desk staff was friendly and the room was unexpectedly spacious and comfortable with many obviously new amemities like the bedding and the bathroom toiletries. My favorite - the free wired high-speed internet. The kids loved the pool and the new playground and my wallet loved the free hot breakfast every morning. Another great asset, this place is close to but not in the fray of all the Disney chaos.

I would highly recommend this location for anyone travelling in Orlando that wanted to have a great stay at an affordable price and likes being close but not on top of the hustle and bustle of Disney.

This is the best little hotel to stay in when visiting Disney World and the adjacent area, if you have a car. It is just a little out of the way, which is good. The hotel is newly renovated from an old La Quinta. It is clean, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I stayed there for four days, and never had a problem. It is quiet, and I could not hear other people in their rooms. The parking is convenient, no hassle. I attended a conference at the Caribe Royale, which is just a two minute drive around the corner. I could leave the conference at night and return to a nice, personable atmosphere without the crowds. The high speed internet cable in the room was blazing fast, much faster than I am able to get on my wireless system at home. I zoomed through my email each night. I definitely hate to give this secret away, but I want this hotel to thrive and get lots of customers. Check them out.

Four night stay. The first night we heard neighbors talking in the room to the left of us, but they didn't make noise during the night. The third and fourth nights were awful, with our "right side" neighbor (closest to our bed) having the TV on literally all night long. We heard everything. A call to the front office did not resolve it. Our last morning we simply got up early and left for the airport--it's quieter there.

One other gripe. The AC unit allowed continous fan (to mask the noise) but not WITH AC. I'm glad it was January because you can only have the Fan or the AC--not both. And the AC shuts off when not cooling (no fan).

The breakfast was fine. The people were nice. Room was clean, with only a little mildew around the tub caulk.

To be honest, the hotel would have been fine with either quiet neighbors or quiet walls. But this is the kind of place that caters to bus tours, etc., so expect kids and groups. This is not a business hotel--you will not be "Smart" at your meeting, as Holiday Inn promises.
