Four night stay. The first night we heard neighbors talking in the room to the left of us, but they didn't make noise during the night. The third and fourth nights were awful, with our "right side" neighbor (closest to our bed) having the TV on literally all night long. We heard everything. A call to the front office did not resolve it. Our last morning we simply got up early and left for the airport--it's quieter there.

One other gripe. The AC unit allowed continous fan (to mask the noise) but not WITH AC. I'm glad it was January because you can only have the Fan or the AC--not both. And the AC shuts off when not cooling (no fan).

The breakfast was fine. The people were nice. Room was clean, with only a little mildew around the tub caulk.

To be honest, the hotel would have been fine with either quiet neighbors or quiet walls. But this is the kind of place that caters to bus tours, etc., so expect kids and groups. This is not a business hotel--you will not be "Smart" at your meeting, as Holiday Inn promises.

stayed in a "family / kids suite" room here for 2 days in June and it was very good for the price. The set up was perfect with a seperate walled off area for the kids with 2 single beds, dresser and TV (with full walls, not the 1/2 walls you see in most "kids suites"). The remaining room had a king bed, fridge, microwave, dresser and TV for the adult(s). The hotel itself is very clean, rather new, has a good free breakfast, small but nice pool area and spa and is in a quiet area within a mile to the Disney "back entrance" off 535. Others have mentioned noise problems at the hotel, but I have never had that problem and this is my 3rd stay here (1st in the kids suite). Pets are allowed, and there has never been a noise or odor problem from that either. Highly recommend the hotel for semi-budget travelers (around $70-125 a night)

great place for dogs! have a grassy area in front and in back--- unusually nice pool- minimal swimwear ok with staff- wore a thong there on many occassions...nice clean rooms- great staff..

Mommy & Daddy are with me, right now, at this hotel. I don't know what noise y'all are talking about...In noisy places, I tend to bark ALOT; hey, my lips have been sealed for 2 days!

Mommy, who's favorite expression is "I hate to complain" (Yeah right, she's such a whiner...And I'm a wiener), has not had one complaint. She & Daddy both enjoyed the breakfast...Plenty of choices and lots of seating. Everything here is so clean...Not much fun for a sniffing dog like me. I can assure you that the bed is super comfy....I did not want to get up this morning but nature called...Ifya know what I mean!

Today they cleaned our room very nicely; plenty of fluffy towels, soap & shampoo was replaced and a thorough vacuuming was done. The maids all made such a fuss over me...Guess I'm as cute as I think I am! Also, the people at the front desk are so nice, too. They even stored my frozen dinners in their big freezer.

If you are looking for a great hotel in the Disney area and choose LaQuinta, you are surely barking up the right tree!
